3 Specifications 3 AQH DCI Finned coil optimized in ing mode. Brazed late Heat Exchanger counter-flow in ing mode. Leaving water temperature control logic. The new air ed water pump with inverter driven compressor has been designed for R410A refrigerant fluid. AQH DCI is equipped with a pump as standard and can operate with low water volume, thanks to the microprocessor that implements an auto-adaptive control logic ensuring a total protection of the compressors at different load or water volume conditions. Main features New 3 phase inverter control. Very low water volume operation thanks to inverter technology and new logic. Strength oints Variable capacity: down to 30% of nominal capacity. Great accuracy in maintaining the desired water temperature. Refrigerant: R410A. Unit optimized in ing mode for both fan coil and floor application. High CO (class A) for both application: fan coil and floor ing. High performance at partial load; High SCO values calculated according to new standard EN Wide operating limits in ing mode: - Min outdoor ambient temperature: -15 C. - Max leaving water temperature: +55 C. High accessibility & serviceability inside the unit. General AQH DCI units are one-block type with one refrigerant circuit. They are intended to down the water required for any air-conditioning application as well as any other fluid, such as for example glycol water. These units are completely assembled at works. They are equipped with all the refrigerating connections and the internal electrical wiring required for a rapid installation on the field. An operation test is performed after assembly, with water flowing through the refrigerant/water exchanger in order to make sure that refrigerating circuit is properly working. The refrigerating circuits of every unit are pressure tested before inspection, drained and charged with R410A. A low noise level is the result of a careful study. It is achieved on chillers by using technologically advanced components without negatively affecting the operation performances and limits of the units. AQH DCI models can down chilled water at a temperature between + 18 and - 8 C and warm up water at a temperature between 25 C and 55 C. Compressors AQH DCI units are equipped with a scroll compressors, with brushless direct current motor (BLDC) type. Compressors are assembled on rubber shock orbers. They are ed down by the refrigerant gas. Compressors are powered on and off by the microprocessor of the unit control system which is intended to control the delivery of the thermal refrigerating capacity. Evaporators Evaporators are made of stainless steel plates. They are thermally insulated by means of a thick flexible insulating mattress with closed cells. The maximum operating pressures correspond to 10 bar for the water side and to 45 bar for the refrigerant side. Antifreeze protection for the water in the exchangers is ensured by electrical ers and differential pressure switches. The water side of these exchangers is connected by manifolds which will provide for the connection to the plant by means of one single 1 1/2 gas threaded attachment. Conformity with standards The units are in conformity with the following standards: Machine Directive: 2006/42/EC. Low Voltage Directive: 2006/95/EC. Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive: 2004/108/EC. ressure Equipment Directive: 97/23/EC.

4 4 Specifications Condensing coils Condensers are coils made of copper tubes arranged in staggered rows and mechanically expanded inside an aluminium finned pack with blue fins treatment as a standard. The maximum operating pressure on the refrigerant side of the condensing batteries is 45 bar Condenser fans The condenser fans are of a helical type. They are directly coupled and have an impeller with wing contoured aluminium blades. Each fan is equipped with a galvanised steel accidentprevention protection which is painted after manufacture. The fans motors are completely closed. They have an I54 protection degree and a protection thermostat embedded in the windings. Refrigerant circuit Each unit has a single refrigerating circuit equipped with an external service valves intended to measure the refrigerant pressure and charge, a sight glass with a humidity indicator, a dryer filter and a electronic expansion valve. Refrigerating circuits are also complete with a high and low pressure switch as well as a high and low transducer. Fans Control All models are equipped with a single-phase voltage fan speed controller using the principle of phase control to adjust the effective voltage output to the load, based on the phase of the WM control signal according the pressure measured on the exchanger. Hydraulic circuit All units are supplied with a circulating pump as standard. The head of the pump is insulated with 10 mm insulation to avoid condensation on it. A water filter is also supplied as standard. A safety valve and an expansion tank are located on the suction side of the pump. Both high and low pressure sides are equipped with 3/8 fittings which allow water to be drained and manometer to be connected during service operations. Water connections are of 1 1/2 male gas threaded type. Control: Entering water temperature sensor; Leaving water temperature sensor; Coil temperature sensor; Discharge temperature sensor; Air temperature sensor; Suction temperature sensor; Suction and discharge pressure transducers.
