Remove wire bindings from paper or plastic bags before placing the bag in the oven. If the materials inside the oven light up, keep the oven door closed, turn off the oven and disconnect the power cord, or turn off the fuse or switch panel. Do not use the cavity for storage purposes. Do not leave paper products, cooking utensils or food in the cavity when not in use. Liquids, such as water, coffee, or tea, can overheat beyond the boiling point without seeming to be boiling because of the surface tension of the liquid. Visible bubbling or boiling when the vessel is removed from the microwave oven is not always present. THIS CAN RESULT IN VERY HOT SUDDENLY 3
BOILING LIQUIDS ON WHEN THE CONTAINER IS DISTURBED OR A UTENSIL IS INSERTED IN THE LIQUID. To reduce the risk of personal injury: Do not overheat the liquid. Stir the liquid before and until half heating. Do not use straight containers with narrow necks. After heating, allow the container to stand in the microwave oven for a short time before removing the container. Use extra care when inserting a spoon or other utensil into the bowl. Do not heat oil or fat to fry. It is difficult to control the temperature of the oil in the microwave oven. Pierce foods with thick skins such as potatoes, whole squash, apples and chestnuts before cooking. The contents of baby bottles and bottles should be shaken or shaken and the temperature should be checked before serving to avoid burns. Cooking utensils may become hot due to the heat transferred from heated food. Guides may be needed to manipulate the utensil. Do not cover or block any openings in the appliance. Do not store or use this appliance outdoors. Do not use this product near water, for example, near a kitchen sink, in a wet basement, near a swimming pool, or similar places. Do not use this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly or if it has been damaged or dropped. Do not immerse cord or plug in water. Keep the cord away from the hot surface. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter. Use only thermometers, which are specifically designed for use in microwave ovens. Do not operate any heating or cooking appliance under this appliance. Make sure that the glass tray and roller rings are in place when using the oven. This appliance should only be serviced by qualified service personnel, contact the nearest authorized service center for examination, repair or adjustment. When cleaning the door and oven surfaces that come together when the door is closed, use only soft, non-abrasive soaps or detergents applied with a sponge or soft cloth. Do not mount the unit on or near any portion of a heating or cooking appliance. Do not mount on a sink. Do not store anything directly on the surface of the appliance when the appliance is in operation. 4
2. PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open because open door operation may result in harmful exposure to microwave power. It is important not to void or manipulate insurance. Do not place any objects between the front face of the oven and the door or allow the soil or cleaning residue to accumulate on the sealing surfaces. Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is especially important that the oven door is properly closed and that there is no damage to the oven: Door (folded), Hinges and locks (broken or loose), Seals of doors and sealing surfaces. The oven should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except qualified service personnel. 3. INSTALLATION GUIDE Make sure that all packaging materials are removed from the inside of the door. Check that the oven is not damaged, such as a misaligned or folded door, damaged door seals and sealing surface, broken or loose door hinges and locks and dents inside the cavity or door. If there is any damage, do not operate the oven, but contact qualified service personnel. This microwave should be placed on a flat and stable surface to maintain its weight and heavier foods that can be baked in the oven. Do not place the oven where high heat, humidity or humidity is generated, or near combustible materials. For correct operation, the oven must have sufficient air flow. Leave 20 cm space on the oven, 10 cm on the back and 5 cm on both sides. Do not cover or block the openings of the appliance. Do not remove the feet on which the oven rises. The appliance should only be used on a counter more than 3 feet above the floor. Do not operate the oven without a glass tray, roller and axle holder in their correct positions. Make sure that the power cord is not damaged and does not operate under the oven or on any hot or shallow surfaces. The plug must be easily accessible so that it can easily be unplugged in an emergency. 5
4. GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS This appliance must be earthed. In the event of an electrical short circuit, earthling reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an exhaust cable for the electric current. WARNING Improper use of the grounding plug may result in a risk of electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician or technician if the grounding instructions are not fully understood or if there is doubt about whether the appliance is properly grounded and: If it is necessary to use an extension cord, use only a 3-wire extension cord that has a 3-prong grounding plug and a 3-slot receptacle that accepts the appliance plug. The classification of the extension cord must be equal to or greater than the electrical classification of the appliance. Do not use an extension cord. If the power cord is too short, have a qualified electrician or technician installs a power outlet near the appliance. ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS Electrical requirements are 120 volts 60 Hz, AC only, 20 amps. It is recommended to provide a separate oven-only circuit. The oven is equipped with a 3-pin grounding plug. It must be plugged into a wall receptacle that is properly installed and grounded. 6
POWER SUPPLY CABLE A short power supply cable is supplied to reduce the risks resulting from entanglement or tripping over a longer cable. Longer cable sets or extensions are available and can be used if care is exercised in their use. If a long cable or extension cord is used: The marked electrical rating of the extension cord or cable must be at least as large as the electrical capacity of the appliance. The extension cable must be a 3-wire grounded cable and the longer cable must be arranged so that it is not covered above the worktop or tabletop where children may inadvertently throw it or trip over. Notes: If you have any questions about grounding or electrical instructions, consult a qualified electrician or service person. Neither DRIJA nor the distributor can accept any liability for damage to the oven or personal injury resulting from failure to comply with the electrical connection procedures. RADIO OR TV INTERFERENCE If there is any interference caused by the microwave oven on your radio or television, check that the microwave oven is on a different circuit, make the radio or TV as far as possible from the oven or check the position and signal of the receiving antenna. 5. UTENSILS GUIDE This section lists which utensils can be used in the microwave, which have limited use for short periods and which should not be used in the microwave. RECOMMENDED Dish to brown the microwaves - Use to brown the exterior of small objects like fillets, chops or pancakes. Follow the instructions provided with your golden dish. Microwave Plastic Wrap - Use to retain steam. Leave a small opening to escape some steam and avoid placing it directly in the food. Paper towels and napkins - They are used for heating and short term decks; these absorb excess moisture and prevent splashing. Do not use recycled paper towels, which may contain metal and may be lit. Bowls and glasses made of glass and vitrocerámica - Used for heating or cooking. 7
Plates and paper cups - Use for short term heating at low temperatures. Do not use recycled paper, which may contain metal and may light up. Wax paper - Use as a cover to avoid splashing. Thermometers - Use only those labeled "Microwave Safe" and follow all instructions. Check the food in several places. Conventional thermometers can be used in microwave foods once the food has been removed from the oven. Aluminum foil - Use narrow strips of foil to prevent overcooking of exposed areas. Using too much foil can damage your oven, so be careful. Keep the 1 inch (2.54 cm) distance between the aluminum foil and the cavity. Ceramics, porcelain and stoneware - Use these if they are labeled "Microwave Safe". If they are not labeled, try them to make sure they can be safely used. Plastic - Use only if it is marked "Safe Microwave". Other plastics can melt. NOT RECOMMENDED Glass Bottles and Bottles - Regular glass is too thin to be used in a microwave. It may rupture and cause damage and injury. Paper bags - These are a fire hazard, except for popcorn bags that are designed for microwave use. Styrofoam plates and cups - These can melt and leave unhealthy residues in food. Storage of plastic and food containers - Containers, such as margarine tubs, can be melted in the microwave. Metal utensils - can damage the oven. Remove all metal before cooking. Note: If you want to check if a dish is safe for the microwave, place the empty dish in the oven and microwave in HIGH for 30 seconds. You should not use a dish that gets too hot. 8
6. COOKING TECHNIQUES Your microwaves make cooking easier than conventional cooking, as long as you consider these considerations: EXCITING Stir foods like casseroles and vegetables while cooking to distribute heat evenly. Food on the outside of the dish absorbs more energy and heats more quickly, so you shake from the outside towards the center. The oven will shut off when the door is opened to remove food. FIX Organize food unevenly, such as chunks of chicken or chops, with the thicker, more expensive parts toward the outside of the turntable where they receive more microwave energy. To avoid burning too much, place delicate areas, such as stud tips, toward the center of the turntable. SHIELD Shield food with narrow strips of foil to prevent overcooking. Areas that need shielding include the tips of the poultry wings, the ends of the poultry legs and the corners of the square baking dishes. Use only small amounts of foil. Larger quantities can damage the oven. TURNED Turn food halfway through cooking to expose all the pieces to microwave energy. This is especially important with large foods such as roasts. STANDING Foods cooked in the microwave accumulate internal heat and continue to cook for a few minutes after the heating stops. Let the foods stop to complete the cooking, especially foods like cakes and whole vegetables. The roasts need this time to complete the cooking in the center without overcooking the outer areas. All liquids, such as soup or hot chocolate, should be shaken or scrambled when the kitchen is complete. Allow liquids to remain a moment before serving. When heating baby foods, stir well when removing and test the temperature before serving. ADD MOISTURE The energy of the microwave is attracted to water molecules. Foods that are uneven in moisture content should be covered or allowed to be maintained so that the heat is dispersed evenly. Add a small amount of water to dry food to help cook Important: If several speed selectors are pressed at the same time, the unit will opt for the highest speed. The extractor will stop if no button is pressed. 9

11. CLEANING AND CARE Turn off the oven and remove the plug from the power outlet before cleaning. Keep the inside of the oven clean. When spilled food or liquids adhere to the oven walls, wipe them with a damp cloth. Soft detergent can be used if the oven becomes very dirty. Avoid the use of spray and other strong cleaning products, as they can stain, scratch or obstruct the surface of the door. The exterior surfaces should be wiped with a damp cloth. To avoid damage to parts In the oven, water should not be allowed to enter the ventilation openings. Clean the door and window on sides as well as door seals and adjacent parts frequently with a damp cloth to eliminate any spills or splashes. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Do not allow the control panel to get wet. Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. When cleaning the control panel, leave the oven door open to prevent the oven from turning on accidentally. If steam collects inside or around the outside of the oven door, wipe it with a soft cloth. This can occur when the microwave oven operates under high humidity conditions. It is sometimes necessary to remove the glass tray to clean it. Wash the tray in hot soapy water or in a dishwasher. The roller ring and oven floor should be cleaned regularly to avoid excessive noise. Simply clean the bottom surface of the oven with mild detergent. The roller ring can be washed with mild soap or dishwashing water. When removing the roller ring from the floor of the cavity for cleaning, be sure to replace it in the correct position. Remove the odors from your oven by combining one cup of water with the juice and skin of one lemon in a deep microwave, microwave bowl for 5 minutes. Clean well and wipe dry with a soft cloth. When it is necessary to replace the oven light, please consult a dealer to replace it. The oven should be cleaned regularly and any food deposits removed. Failure to maintain the oven in a clean condition could result in deterioration of the surface which could adversely affect the life of the appliance and possibly lead to a hazardous situation. Please do not dispose of this appliance in the household wastebasket; it must be disposed of at the disposal center provided by the municipalities. When the microwave oven is used for the first time with a grill function, it may produce a slight smoke and odor. This is a normal phenomenon, since the oven is made of a steel plate coated with lubricating oil, and the new furnace will produce fumes and odors generated by the combustion of lubricating oil. This phenomenon will disappear after a period of use In the oven, water should not be allowed to enter the ventilation openings 17
