The pump provides additional pressure to showers, taps and similar outlet points. The BD15-90B is for use in open systems. Approval from the local water company must be obtained if the pump is to be connected directly to the water main. The pump incorporates a flow switch which starts or stops the pump when a tap is turned on or off. 20 DWC SERIES CIRCULATOR PUMPS DUAL OT WATER CIRCULATOR PUMP SETS STANDARD APPLICATION The YJET Dual ot Water Pump Sets give assurance when needing a reliable hot water supply and are efficient in energy consumption by timing the operation of the pumps when required. The DWC Series systems incorporate YJET PD S and PD S stainless steel circulator pumps and stainless steel manifolds. The complete system is mounted on a galvanised base plate and is pre-plumbed with all associated valves and fittings including dual check valves and ball valves for easy maintenance. STANDARD MODEL The standard model includes a polycarbonate weatherproof controller with one control switch PUMP 1 / Auto / PUMP 2. When the switch is set on Auto, the pumps will automatically alternate duty every six hours. 22 R SERIES SURFACE OPTION R-400/550 RAIN / MAINS SYSTEMS YJET W ARRA NTY APPLICATION The YJET R SERIES is an automatic Rain / Mains changeover pump system allowing tank water to be used for water supply in preference to mains water. The YJET R SERIES has a quality proven electronic pressure controller which automatically starts the pump when there is demand for water supply. The pressure controller will only operate the pump if tank water is available. The YJET R SERIES will automatically switch to mains water when tank water is empty and in case of power failure. The YJET R SERIES does not require an in-tank float switch which makes the system quick and easy to install. 24 MR20 SERIES SURFACE OPTION MR20-370/550 RAIN / MAINS SYSTEMS YJET W ARRA NTY APPLICATION The MR20 Series is a fully Automatic ydraulic Rain / Mains water changeover device designed for pressure pump supply systems in harvesting rainwater for the toilet, laundry and household applications with automatic mains backup. The MR20 Valve is designed to operate with an electronic pressure controller with auto restart not requiring a float switch. This design makes the MR20 System very simple to install. The MR20 Valve comes with 3/4 outlet, which makes the system ideal for domestic applications. Certified to: WaterMark ATS WMK Complies with AS/NZS when installed by a licensed plumber. Note: Should the static mains supply be greater than 400 kpa above the supply pressure of the pump the device will not completely isolate mains water. Stops the pump and protects the motor in case of overcurrent. INSTALLATION & STARTUP To operate, the electrical power supply of the pump must be connected to the main power supply. For this reason, the power supply plug of the pump must be inserted into the socket of the device which is then connected to the power point. In case of a water shortage on suction, the device will stop the pump and protect it against dry running. This malfunctioning is indicated with the red Failure led blinking. In case of the current absorption exceeding 8 Amps (PC-PS08) or 10 Amps (PC-PS10), the device will stop the pump motor and protect it against over-current. There are many factors which affect suction lift: Altitude: As altitude increases, atmospheric pressure decreases, thus exerting less push on the water entering the pump suction. Pump Suction Performance: Generally, the higher the flow rate from a pump, the less the partial vacuum created by that pump.
