All flusher-disinfectors in the Getinge 600 series are toploaded and can be used for: emptying (conventional slop basin with rim flush) cleaning and disinfection. This eliminates the need for a separate emptying unit in the disinfection room, thus saving time, space and money. The entire process from emptying to cleaning and disinfection takes only 4-7 minutes. Easy to work with The top-loaded flusher-disinfectors in the Getinge 600 series are designed with a front that is lower than the rear. The flush chamber therefore slants and opens upwards, making it easy to load, empty and monitor. ing chambers, pipes, nozzles etc are also disinfected after every process thanks to Pipe System Disinfection (PSD). This means that no microbial residues are left behind between processes, so hygiene is outstanding. Automatic drying When the cleaning/disinfection process is completed, the lid automatically opens about ten centimeters. This speeds up drying, leaving items dry and cool in a very short time. The green signal and the slightly open lid are clear signs that clean items are available in the chamber. Convenient foot pedal as standard To make handling of items even more convenient and to avoid contaminating clean hands, every model in the entire Getinge 600 series comes with a foot pedal to open and close the lid. The foot pedal can also be used to start the department s most frequently-used program. Superior cleaning and disinfection With the Getinge 600 series, we have made cleaning and disinfection more effective and efficient than anyone else. Heavily soiled items are cleaned by rotating nozzles and an effective flushing system. They are then heat-disinfected by steam from all of the nozzles. Internal disinfection in bottles and similar receptacles is also ensured. But it s not just the items to be washed that benefit from superior disinfection in the Getinge 600 series machines. The machine s wash- In the Getinge 600 series, steam is supplied via each individual flush nozzle, directly into each individual item to be washed. Conventional flusher-disinfectors have just one central nozzle for the steam, which then has to find its own way into bottles and similar items.

This minimizes health risks and cuts the costs of destroying biological waste. Disinfection on the inside too The great innovation is that the bags are not just opened up and the contents emptied. The inside of the bag is also disinfected. The process can be described in four stages: 1. The bag is filled with a cascade of cold water to dilute the contents. 2. A knife cuts open the lower part of the bag and the contents are emptied. 3. The inside of the bag is flushed with water. 4. The bag is steam-disinfected both inside and out. For all types of bags and residual products The system can handle virtually all types of bags on the international market. Virtually all residual products such as urine and blood can be handled too, thanks to the unique design. The final result is a bag that can be disposed of as ordinary waste.
