4 SECTION MOUNTING BATH Bath for floating out sections with built in temperature controller from 40ºC to 75ºC. Built in safety device to shut off energy supply to the heater in event of overheat condition such as boiling dry. The bath has a durable aluminium exterior and plastic lid available which is easy to clean. 7 GENERAL DESCRIPTION The histology section mounting bath has a black anodised aluminium giving excellent visibility of specimens. It has a variable heat setting with a temperature regulator, which is controlled by a thermostat with a fluid expansion Sensor. The wide surround gives improved draining and support area. The external casing is made of oven painted aluminium coated with epoxy paint making an easy clean finish. The unit has an insulated interior with fibreglass to minimise heat loss and maintain uniform temperature. The interior chamber is made from stainless steel chamber with a mild steel coated with aluminium (CLAD) available as an option.

9 Fitted with fixed shelf runners and removable chrome plated wire grid shelves. The top vent is fitted with a clip to hold a mercury in glass thermometer. The vertical style units are fitted with the controls below the door, the horizontal style units with the controls fitted on the side. The incubators have a solid steel door as standard or as an alternative a door with an integral viewing window (VIS) can be fitted. As an option a double door, comprising steel outer with an inner glass door is also available. HEATING Heated by Incoloy sheathed elements; positioned below the chamber floor for natural convection units and fitted around the fan on the back or side wall of the chamber for mechanical convection units. The maximum temperature depends on the specification of the model ordered so please contact us for more information. The 00 litre units have fan circulation as standard. CONTROLS The control system comprises of a direct reading thermostat and overheat thermostat both with calibrated scales and tamper proof locks. They also include main switch with indicator and heat and overheat indicators. Options include a PID Microprocessor controller with dual displays of set point and actual temperature, which are auto-tuned for each individual unit to optimise the heat up, overshoot and control of temperature.
