5 STAINLESS STEEL PRIMARY HEAT EXCHANGER Riello always designs products with careful attention to detail and quality. This commitment guided the development of the FAMILY PRO for the North American market place. For example, The FAMILY PRO heat exchanger is manufactured in stainless steel with a smooth coil tube, ensuring optimal efficiency and cleanliness over time. A LEADING DHW PERFORMER BUILT-IN FLUE GAS CHECK VALVE Riello has also optimized the plate-to-plate heat exchanger by incorporating the most advanced analysis and fluid-thermodynamic simulation techniques to achieve high-level performance and optimal user comfort. 6 EMISSIONS UNDER CONTROL ACTIVE COMBUSTION CONTROL The FAMILY PRO s Active Combustion Control (ACC) system, designed and developed by Riello, allows for functionality, efficiency and low emissions under any conditions. The ACC system uses a flame (ionization) sensor signal to regulate combustion. The system maintains a continuous and optimal air/ gas mixture throughout modulation (allowing the CO 2 readings to remain steady). FAMILY PRO s sophisticated control system provides the auto-regulation of the combustion so there is no need for an initial calibration. The ACC system is able to adapt the boiler to operate with different gas compositions. The ACC system can also perform an autodiagnostic operation that locks out the burner before the permitted upper emission limit is exceeded. ACC advantages: Auto-adaptability of the system to the type and composition of the gas eliminates the need for gas conversion kits. No mechanical calibration or manual adjustments for combustion are required on the boiler. Steady stoichiometric * air/ fuel value is maintained throughout boiler operation. Continuous emission control is in compliance with prevailing standards. Substantial gas savings compared to traditional systems. Efficiency and reliability are assured for the life of the boiler. The ACC system enables the boiler to change based on data received from parameters that take in consideration both deterioration of components and data acquired over time. 8 CONTROL PANEL AND FUNCTIONS THE CONTROL PANEL I S MODERNIZED WITH FAMILY PRO. Clear, intuitive and user friendly, the controller is integrated into the design. The large back-lit display featuring text/icon rich information, and raised keys combine to simplify navigation. The control panel shows the operating status of the boiler. It can also be used to program and adjust the boiler. INFORMATION DISPLAY In addition to date and time, the display also shows key boiler operational information, water delivery temperature and system pressure. Through an icon on the display, the boiler also warns the user about the need to carry out a specific required service. PROGRAMMING The boiler operation can be easily programmed to meet your needs. It is possible to set hourly and daily time-switch programming for each system area. The FAMILY PRO display is equipped with a Color Bar that provides information about the boiler's operating status at a glance. In the event of a technical fault, it is immediately clear if the issue is critical and if technical support should be arranged. The panel's color bar will take on one of the following 4 colors, depending on system status: GREEN Regular operation. The system is meeting DHW/heating requirements or is carrying out other automated operations. A scrolling message at the bottom of the display describes the function that is active. YELLOW Presence of technical faults that the user may be able to resolve and that still enable partial operation of the product. An error warning sign on the display enables the user to access detailed information on the fault. RED Presence of a block fault that requiring Technical Support. 9 COMFORT AT YOUR FINGERTIPS A WINNING COMBINATION! The RiCLOUD smart remote control enables you to manage the comfort of your home in an easy, intuitive way, even when you are away. The dedicated app allows you to monitor the status of the heating, cooling and fan system. It also enables timeswitch programming directly from your smartphone or tablet. Riello boilers are also compatible with OTbus connection for a full remote control of the boiler using the RiCLOUD and its app. The RiCLOUD WiFi box can manage up to 8 different zones, each controlled by its dedicated RiCLOUD thermostat. The RiCLOUD can also be installed in a 100% wireless mode through the use of a radio receiver, available as an option, eliminating the need to run unnecessary wires through walls.
