3 INITIAL SETUP Get set up and start cooking your first meal in less than a minute! Clamp My Sous-Vide onto the side of a cooking pot or similar food safe container.* Make sure My Sous-Vide is upright and stable to allow for proper water circulation. Plug My Sous-Vide into the nearest electrical outlet. (USA models input voltage: 115V) Use the temperature scroll wheel to set your temperature. Press Start, listen for the beep, and you re all set! *We recommend that you use the following dimensions when cooking with My Sous-Vide: - smallest size pots/containers: 8 diameter, 6 minimum depth, 12 maximum depth - largest size pots/containers: 12 diameter, 6 minimum depth, 8 maximum depth My Sous-Vide Quick Start Guide Page 2

6 SAFETY WARNINGS WARRANTY IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION Please read this safety information before operating your My Sous-Vide Immersion Cooker. You ll find additional safety tips in the complete user manual, which can be found at My Sous-Vide is hot when operational. Use caution to avoid burns and always allow the machine to cool off before emptying water from the cooking container/pot. To avoid risk of fire or electric shock, never submerge My Sous-Vide past the Max line of the removable cover. When using My Sous-Vide, place your pot on a potholder or on a stove top to protect your counter-top, as My Sous-Vide may damage other surfaces. Never use extension cables or a damaged electrical cable or plug with My Sous-Vide. Use securely grounded electrical outlets and unplug the machine when not in use. Never place the cooking container/pot in which My Sous-Vide is attached on places such as stoves or hot ovens where the power cable may be damaged. Allow My Sous-Vide to cool completely before disassembling parts for cleaning. Never disassemble My Sous-Vide for maintenance or cleaning outside of the steps explained in the complete user manual located on Never use deionized water (DI water) with My Sous-Vide as it may damage the machine surfaces/parts. In the scenario that any other parts accidentally submerge in water, unplug My Sous-Vide immediately and contact us for further assistance. Always supervise children when they are nearby My Sous-Vide while in use. Always put food in a sealed bag before placing into the water of the pot/container that My Sous-Vise is attached to. Never use accessory attachments that are not designed for My Sous-Vide, since they may result in damage to the machine or personal injury. Ingesting raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish or eggs can potentially increase risk of food-borne illness. LIMITED WARRANTY My Sous-Vide warrants to the Buyer that the product is free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date the product is purchased. EXCLUSIONS This Limited Warranty does not cover damage to the product resulting from accident, misuse, improper installation or operation, failure to provide proper maintenance, unreasonable use or abuse of the product, or failure to follow written installation or operating instructions. Water damage generally and damage arising from the use of deionized water is not covered. Use of the product in a commercial environment voids this Limited Warranty. Service, repair or alteration of the product by the Buyer or any person or entity not authorized by My Sous-Vide voids this Limited Warranty.
