1 Agriculture, Schools and Government Program 2018 SUMMARY OF SERVICES AND INCENTIVES Effective through December 31, 2018 Updated January 1, 2018 FOCUS ON YOUR FACILITIES WHILE WE FOCUS ON YOUR ENERGY Program Incentives Summary Save energy and money with financial incentives available for implementing energy efficient strategies by purchasing and installing new equipment for a variety of facilities. The following custom and prescriptive incentives are available through the Agriculture, Schools and Government (AgSG) Program. Prescriptive incentives on pages 4-11 are available for products purchased and installed between January 1, 2018 and December 31, Call for specific questions regarding product eligibility or visit focusonenergy.com/agsg for more information. Who Are We? Focus on Energy provides expert Energy Advisor assistance and financial incentives to make all aspects of production and operation more energy efficient and cost-effective. How to Apply: STEP Work with your Energy Advisor or Trade Ally to determine the upgrades that are best for your facility. Find your Energy Advisor at focusonenergy.com/ea-map. To find a Trade Ally, visit focusonenergy.com/tradeally. STEP If pre-approval is required, work with your Energy Advisor prior to purchasing equipment. STEP Complete your energy efficient upgrade. STEP Submit completed paperwork within 60 days of project completion to your Energy Advisor or to AgSGapps@focusonenergy.com

2 Prescriptive Incentives Prescriptive incentives are offered based on specific dollar amounts for completing a qualifying energy efficiency measure. Incentives are subject to change without notice. For the most up to date information, visit focusonenergy.com/applications. Projects must meet all of the requirements listed on the prescriptive application form. This summary does not list all requirements. Products must be installed in 2018 to receive 2018 incentive rates. Submit your prescriptive application within 60 days of installation. Please visit focusonenergy.com/applications to ensure you are using the most current catalog and incentive application. Custom Incentives Custom incentives are offered based on calculated first year energy savings associated with a project. To apply for custom incentives, customers must receive pre-approval by working with a Focus on Energy Advisor prior to project initiation (ordering equipment or processing purchase orders). Incentive approval will be contingent upon working with your Energy Advisor on all necessary documentation. Custom incentive levels are subject to change. - Custom $0.03/kWh incentives - $100/peak kw* - $0.80/Therm ($0.20 increase from 2017) * Peak kw is determined by the average kw load reduction occurring between 1PM and 4PM on weekdays during June, July and August. Custom incentives will only be provided for projects with a simple payback between years and incentives are limited to no more than 50% of a project s cost. Participation Requirements Focus on Energy only offers incentives for customers of qualifying electric and natural gas providers. Other heat sources (such as propane, wood heat, and fuel oil) do not qualify for incentives. Customers of a participating electric utility, but not a participating natural gas utility, will be eligible for electric savings incentives only. Customers of a participating natural gas utility, but not a participating electric utility, will be eligible for natural gas savings incentives only. Customers who have both a participating electric and a participating gas utility will qualify for all incentives. All custom incentives must be pre-approved and prescriptive incentives over $10,000 can request incentives to guarantee incentive eligibility. Maximum incentive for a custom project is $200,000. The maximum total of all incentives an individual customer may receive per calendar year is $400,000. Special Incentive offerings for AgSG Customers Comprehensive Lighting Initiative: Agriculture, Schools & Government customers eligible. Lighting projects including LED technology AND lighting controls are eligible for this incentive. Lighting upgrade must retrofit a minimum of 50,000 ft² or 75% of a building. Incentive is $0.07/kWh. Bonus incentive of $0.03 for saving over 60% of baseline energy (kwh) usage. Preapproval required. Existing building retrofit only. Visit focusonenergy.com/cli for more information. Water and Wastewater Bonus: Water/Wastewater customers eligible. 20% bonus on all prescriptive projects and 10% bonus on all custom projects through Mark Water/Wastewater under Section 6: Business Property type of the Incentive Application. Visit focusonenergy.com/agsg for more information. Delivering Energy Efficiency Together (DEET) Initiative: K-12 schools eligible. DEET participants rewarded with cash incentives for making measurable behavior changes in the absence of new equipment upgrades. Incentives offered every 4 months. Points are awarded three times a year for reducing kwh and Therms usage and can be redeemed for a variety of energyrelated prizes. Applications must be submitted prior to the following start dates: January 15, May 15, and September 15. Visit focusonenergy.com/deet for more information. Agriculture Multiple Equipment Bonus: Agriculture customers eligible. Bonus offered for installing more than one technology in Incentive bonus ranges from $400-$600 (capped at 50% of original incentive). Existing buildings only.
