2 Introduction The years following our establishment in 96 witnessed successful works of KOMSAN. At those years, we were aware such a significance of pressurized air manufacturing in the developing industries of rapidly growing countries. Time has proved us rightful. Subsequent to our first compressor with 00 lt. /min. stroke volume, an over of both fixed and portable compressors manufacturing in a wide range of extending to 60 m/min stroke volume were followed. For this success which made us the sole name of the pressurized air, we owed to keeping with the technological advances, our timely and sound decisions on fulfilling necessities of industry. These contributions of in the development of Turkish industry are the explanation of justified pride of KOMSAN in own field. With KOMSAN, "Brand" is exported from Turkey for the first time. In this course, nearly compressors and a great deal of instrument with air have been exported to the Western Countries and Middle East. 10 COMPRESSOR WORKING SYSTEM Air which is vacuumed from atmosphere with the vacuum effect generated by screw group comes to vacuum valve filter. Air is maintained to pass through vacuum valve () by decomposing the dust particles in the air. Clean air which enters from vacuum valve passes to screw group () with movement of pneumatic piston of vacuum valve according to idle and loaded operation status of compression. Oil is transmitted to screw group in order to minimize the friction effects of helical male and female rotors which performs compression operation and prevent inverse movement as to the system flow of compressed air. Air and oil of which pressure increased as a result of compression come to the oil tank () to decompose from each other. The air which is separated as a result of separation of oil and air operation took place in oil tank is transmitted to cooler (6). Air of which temperature is decreased in cooler passes here to the system. Oil separated from air comes to thermostatic valve (4). Oil is transmitted whether to cooler in order to cool it or to system by processing through (5) according to temperature of oil. Oil that was transmitted cooler and its temperature decreased was transmitted back to screw unit by processing through oil filter. COMPRESSOR

11 KOMSAN FOR MORE EFFICIENCY, LESS ENERGY CONSUMPTION In screw compressors with oil injection, OIL functions impermeability between rotors, lubrication and as cooler fluid (cools heat generated in screw). For balancing the working temperature of compressor, Cooling of heated oil is required. Before re-introducing of oil into screw, air is cooled by processing radiator with cooler function. Cooled air enters into screw Figure Figure through injection hole of screw after passed through oil filter. To ease the condensation of moisture in air generated by compressor, besides oil, final cooling is made and after processed through air cooler, it is transmitted to back up storage. DIFFERENCE OF KOMSAN COMPRESSOR because cooler fan in the FIGURE that we used is mounted to electrical engine, cooling operation maintained as long as compressor operates. Moreover, as it can be understood from our design, the air which enters into compressor cabin has to pass through cooler combs in order to exit outside. In here, it contributes to screw performance by providing air that screw needs more easily to be vacuumed at the time when vacuum valve opens by forming a positive pressure area. In our radiator, both air and oil cooling is carried out, the important point in here is the engagement of fan with thermostat in the systems in which extra fan is used, in other words it engages only when oil is heated, in this case the air temperature which exists from radiator will be unbalanced. However, because constant air flow is maintained in the system mounted to the engine, air output temperature is stable; in this case, we sustain more quality air for dryers connected to system and we make dryer not exhausted.

14 PORTABLE DIESEL COMPRESSOR It is diesel engine compressor which generates pressurized air for implementing various industrial works such as agricultural, construction, road construction which transmission of electrical energy is impossible or very difficult.
