3 Winterhalter PT TwinSet The machines of the PT Series can also be ordered as TwinSet. The temporarily combination of two PT machines is specifically designed for businesses that experience extreme capacity fluctuations together with peak utilization levels. Two identical machines that are connected at the hood take care of large quantities of wash items with double capacity at peak times. As soon as the rush is over, the hoods can be easily disconnected with one motion and washing will be continued with one machine. That avoids idle runs and saves water, detergent and power. Each machine works independently and it is possible to separate dishes by type if required. This makes it possible to optimally coordinate temperatures, detergent and water quality. Depending on the application the machines of the PT Series are available as dish-, glass-, cutlery- and bistro dish -washers. 5 Winterhalter PT-500 Winterhalter presents the PT-500, a new pass-through dishwasher which produces excellent cleaning results quickly and efficiently due to new components and innovations. You can choose one of three programmes depending on the degree of soiling: short, standard and intensive. The new elliptical wash fields with specially developed jets ensure comprehensive washing power, which give brilliant cleaning results throughout the entire machine. Furthermore the PT-500 is equipped with a quadruple filtration system. Food residue and soiling are trapped by the strainer which has a removable sieve. With active energy management, the machine has an hourly capacity of up to 60 racks in the short programme. The available energy can be optimal used to prepare the machine for rapid operation. That e.g. reduces the heating time by up to 50 %. PT-500 has a colour coded display showing the various machine states. Selected washing programmes are also started using the single-button control or automatic hood start. In addition the PT-500 has numerous control functions which further reduces staff workload. Tank and boiler temperatures can be shown on the display at any time. Simple symbols warn the personnel when there is a lack of detergent and rinse aid. A leak sensor monitors uncontrolled water outflows and shuts off the machine's water inlet. Thus PT-500 guarantees process reliability and prevents resulting damage. 7 Winterhalter PT EnergyPlus The PT Series machines can also optionally be equipped with the large waste water heat exchanger and an additional exhaust air heat exchanger. These EnergyPlus models then use the energy from the waste water and the exhaust air for the two-step heating of the cold water supply. The operating costs will be reduced by up to 20 %* 1 per wash cycle. As the exhaust air temperature is also reduced by more than half, investments in additional extraction hoods may also be unnecessary (please refer to guidelines for kitchen ventilation systems). 12 Winterhalter PT-XL Depending on the application, the PT machines are available in four different versions: glasswasher, dishwasher, bistro dishwasher and cutlery washer. By selecting the corresponding programme, VarioPower automatically adjusts the washing power to the type of dishes and the degree of soiling. Maximum coverage is guaranteed by the elliptical wash fields with integrated wash and rinse jets. Furthermore the wash water is constantly filtered during the whole washing process thanks to patented full-flow filtration. Furthermore a sensor continuously monitors the quality of the wash water. If necessary, more fresh water is fed into the tank which gradually regenerates the wash water. Due to the active energy management the machines of the PT Series are ready for operation clearly faster. That reduces the heating time by up to 50%* 1. The touchscreen is the basis for self-explanatory, language-neutral operation. Additional the machines control many workflows automatically and can detect and report errors, and even rectify some errors themselves.
