3 FUME CUPBOARDS & DUCTLESS FUME HOODS Fume Cupboards Chemical fume hoods protect laboratory staff from noxious fumes when working with acids, dangerous gas, organic solutions, etc. Harmful and unpleasant chemical fumes are removed from the controlled environment to facilitate safe, pleasant work in laboratories, hospitals, medical R&D centers, universities, schools, plastics factories, aircraft, electronics and optics factories, gluing halls, and more. Non-filter Fume Cupboards Channels chemical vapors out of the building using an internal fan installed on the roof or on an external wall. Designed for work with heavy chemicals; the hood is made of polypropylene, in a metal cabinet. Ductless Fume Hood with Active Charcoal Filter Consists of a work station cabinet with an upper fume hood containing the fan, active charcoal filter and exhaust pipe. After suction and absorption of chemical vapors from the work station, the air is filtered by the active charcoal filter, thereby releasing clean air into the workspace. A HEPA filter can be added. 3

8 DUCTLESS FUME HOODS PRO SERIES TopAir has recently launched Pro, an innovative, advanced series of ductless fume hoods. The Pro series comprises cutting edge technology and offers one of the safest and most secure working and operating environments in the world. Pro series is equipped with an advanced control system that allows a secure and especially quiet working environment while indicating any deviations in precise functioning, thus affording laboratory staff a safe and pleasant work environment. The control system is highly dependable and precise, manufactured in Britain and equipped with a high quality LCD screen. Features Advanced control system with a sensor regulating steady airflow on the window line, therefore allowing quiet, efficient and safe work The control system displays the airflow velocity on an LCD screen and provides audiovisual indication of any diversion from the recommended velocity. A sensor in the hood detects any excessive concentration of chemicals above the filter and provides an audiovisual indication when filter checks or changes are required.
