VÄRMEBARONEN BIOMASS RANGE MAINTENANCE-FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT BOILERS MEAN CARBON DIOXIDE-NETRAL HEATING Wood is a biofuel which, when used in the right wood-fired boiler and fired in the right way, has minimal environmental impact. The carbon dioxide that is released during combustion is the same amount of carbon dioxide that the wood gives off when it dies and decomposes. 4 BENEFITS OF PELLET FEL ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY AND ECONOMICAL Wood pellets are a biofuel manufactured from sawdust. When you use wood pellets as a fuel, the substances released into the atmosphere are re-absorbed by growing plants and trees, creating a natural cycle unlike burning fossil fuels or generating electricity from oil or coal. The net emissions of carbon dioxide are zero. This compact and versatile duo can fit into small spaces where required or be linked to a lager hopper for higher demand. PELLMAX VX HOT WATER WITH HEAT EXCHANGER The Pellmax VX is a solid and compact pellet boiler, using a traditional control system with mechanical thermostats which switch on the pellet burner dependant on temperature. The control panel shows which energy source is being used. The heat exchanger produces hot water as it is needed. All you need is a water-based heating system and a thermal store/accumulator tank. The B model is a heat source that works perfectly with solar collectors and heat pumps.the solar collector can heat the water and the building in spring, summer and autumn. 7 VIKING BIO 200 MODERN BRNER MINIMM MAINTENANCE Viking Bio 200 is a modern auger-fed pellet burner. It operates automatically meaning minimum maintenance and maximum convenience. All the materials are carefully selected. For example, the new digital display, automatic ash removal and fuel hot parts are made of temperature resistant materials. The burner meets Europe s strictest environmental requirements with low CO emissions and minimum dust content. Tested by SP, the Technical Research Institute of Sweden, to EN 15270, Viking Bio 200 belongs to class 5, which is the highest class available. ATOMATIC ASH REMOVAL Ash removal at adjustable intervals, makes it virtually maintenance-free. In pellet boilers with spacious combustion chambers such as Värmebaronen's Pellmax series, the system can be operated for very long periods without maintenance. The rods push ash and soot out of the burner. In idle mode, they are withdrawn and well protected. The display can be used to set how often ash is to be removed. After ash removal the rods withdraw and are protected against any negative impact the firing might have. The rods run freely, independently of each other, and there is no risk of them getting stuck or making any noise. Ceramic firebox with reverse combustion and solid and reliable hatches which last the lifetime of the boiler. The removable pellet hatch on the firebox makes it easy to fit the pellet burner at any stage. Thanks to the integrated fans, the Vedolux 30 and Vedolux 37 have some of the least demanding chimney requirements on the market. If you have a chimney with low suction, these boilers are an excellent choice. The fan is started with a single press of a button when you start firing. When the fire goes out, the fan will stop automatically. This is important to ensure that the boiler does not cool down, as this would reduce its efficiency. 22 ACCMLATOR TANKS CHOOSE AN ACCMLATOR TANK CAREFLLY There are many different types of accumulator tank available on the market and when choosing an accumulator you should choose for maximum efficiency, ease of installation and flexability. We believe our Aqualux range offers the best and most flexible choice. The tanks are packed full of ingenious solutions to make heating as simple and efficient as possible. IT S THE TANK THAT CONTS FTRE-PROOF YOR HEATING SYSTEM! An accumulator tank contains water and its main task is to store energy from one or more heat sources. To work as economically as possible, the tank must be able to handle the heat sources connected so that the water moves in the right way in the tank, so-called stratification. The Aqualux Teknik is optimised to produce optimum stratification with several heat sources connected. Stratification plates and diffusers in the Aqualux range maintain flawless stratification within the tank meaning heat from different sources enerts at the perfect level optimising effieciency of every heat source. The space saving design means these tanks fit neatly into most spaces and reduce work during the installation. If you have a solar panel, the tank can cope with several cloudy days. If you fire with wood, this means you have to fire less frequently. The tank is also not sensitive to lime in the water. A standard tank fitted with a coil is less efficient meaning that the hot water temperature can fall quickly. As a result the tank requires heat to be supplied more frequently. In addition, depending on location, the coil is sensitive to water containing lime. P22
