1 GETINGE CLEAN SINK DOSING (CSD) PRODUCT SPECIFICATION PRODUCT Getinge (CSD) is a multi-use, easy to operate detergent dosing system for better process control of manual sink cleaning applications. The CSD can also be used to dispense detergent to ultrasonic baths. Getinge CSD unit is easy to install, and depending on local regulations it is typically fitted on the wall behind the sink. The Getinge CSD includes; Base unit With two peristaltic pumps prepared for single or dual pump modes, it can be used for up to two different detergents and two sinks, or other units that need precise dosing of process chemicals. If the single pump mode is used, the second pump serves as a back-up. Temperature probe Ensures optimal cleaning temperatures and helps prevent hot water scalding. The display will signal when temperature is out of range (adjustable). Installation kit All necessary parts for a complete installation of the Getinge CSD; see page 3. Advanced control interface Includes interface for optional remote start switch and low level detergent alarm. INTENDED USE The Getinge is used to deliver Getinge Clean process chemicals into a pre-cleaning sink for soaking and manual cleaning of various items*. Getinge uses a computer controlled peristaltic pump to deliver the exact amount process chemicals, at the optimal temperature and dilution rate according to the recommendations of the manufacturer. *For cleaning of surgical instruments, always follow the recommendation from the instrument manufacturer in accordance to ISO 17664:2004 Two reliable peristaltic pumps for dosing into two different basins (sink or sonic) or dosing of two different detergents with a single system Capable of dosing two programmable levels (half and full sink) at the unit or with a single button actuation at the remote switch (optional) Temperature probe ensures dosing of detergent at the right temperature for maximum cleaning efficiency Temperature continuously monitored and shown on the LED display Intuitive user interface and digital programming menu in: English, Spanish, French, German and Swedish.
