To guarantee that your product functions optimay there are a few points of attention which are described in the instaation manua. We can ony offer you the fu guarantee if the mat is correcty instaed in accordance with the instaation manua. Carefuy read the instructions prior to instaation and ensure that you have the correct toos and materias. PLEASE NOTE: The eectrica instaation MUST BE carried out by a quaified eectrician. Before instaing check if the heating mat is the right size for the foor area to be heated and that there is sufficient eectrica capacity (Amps) avaiabe. The mat shoud not be positioned over expansion joints. If mutipe mats are instaed in an area then a shared power point can be instaed so that ony 1 power cabe runs to the thermostat. Maximum capacity of the thermostat is 16 Amps. The thermostat shoud be instaed by a quaified eectrician. The power suppy must be turned off during instaation. The MYSON mat consists of a heating cabe of 8-9 Watts per metre that is equay distributed and connected to a gass fibre net with an inter-oop distance of approximatey 70mm. Each mat is tested at the factory and has a unique inspection card. Every mat is tested at 4000 vot. You must check the mat after each instaation phase, in order to know at which phase any defect occurs (section 4.0). The heating cabe, attached to the grey gass fibre net, must NOT be broken. The mats must NOT be aid over each other and the heating cabes must NEVER cross each other. The cabe junction (where the power suppy cabe joins the heating cabe) is just within the heating mat and is marked. The mat has 1 connecting cabe, which is 5 metres in ength. The connector cabe MUST NOT be shortened by more than 3 metres, there must therefore aways be at east 2 metres of connecting wire eft. The power suppy must be turned off during instaation. The heating mat is 3-4 mm thick and must be incorporated in an adhesive or screed suitabe for foor heating. Check the manufacturer s data. A distance from the wa of 100mm shoud generay be adhered to. The mat may never be instaed under fixed objects ike wa units, kitchen units, baths or showers and must be abe to give off its warmth unimpeded. The MYSON mat may ony be incorporated into the free foor/wa areas. As many bathrooms consist mainy of a sma free foor area the mat may ony be instaed as suppementary heating. Pease contact your heating engineer who wi advise the heating requirement of the room. The sensor MUST be instaed in the midde of a cabe oop for optima temperature registration. Ensure that the sensor is instaed we cear (min. 500mm) of hidden radiator and water pipes, drains and eectrica wiring. The sensor MUST aways remain in the sensor pipe. Cap the end of the pipe to avoid the sensor getting stuck during instaation. If the sensor ever needs to be repaced it can then easiy be removed. A sufficienty strong and thick compression resistant foor, with or without reinforcing, must be appied on wood and insuation. If this is not the case pease contact Customer Services and enquire about our other products. The eectric heating mat is guaranteed for 10 years. The thermostat is guaranteed for 2 years. The guarantee does not appy to damage caused by externa factors and/or incorrect instaation. In compiance with the EU Directive 2006/66/EC, the button ce battery ocated on the printed circuit board inside this product, can be removed at the end of the product ife, by professiona personne ony.
