The newly introduced LH-3100 series ensures both beautifully and consistently finished seams and a higher degree of ease of operation.

The tension applied to the bobbin thread has been reduced and the needle thread path has been thoroughly renovated to achieve highly consistent feed of the needle thread.

The thread tension control mechanism has a wider adjustable range.

This dramatically improves the sewing capabilities of the machine. Furthermore, the stroke of the thread tension spring can be adjusted with ease. Oil leakage has been completely eliminated.

Oil shield rubber installed on the jaw of the machine arm prevents oil leakage. The feed mechanism has been improved, thereby preventing slippage of the material.

As a result, the feed dog securely catches the material and the material can be smoothly fed while preventing puckering, deformation of the material and material slippage.

2 The newly introduced LH-3100 series ensures both beautifully and consistently finished seams and a higher degree of ease of operation. The sewing machine ensures consistently finished seams of high quality. The tension applied to the bobbin thread has been reduced and the needle thread path has been thoroughly renovated to achieve highly consistent feed of the needle thread. Puckering, stitch skipping, thread breakage and isolated idling loops can be therefore prevented, enabling the machine to produce beautifully finished seams with consistency. The thread tension control mechanism has a wider adjustable range. The sewing machine comes with separately-driven rightand left-hand side thread tension springs, and a needle thread tension controller which widens the adjustment range of thread tension. This dramatically improves the sewing capabilities of the machine. Furthermore, the stroke of the thread tension spring can be adjusted with ease. Oil leakage has been completely eliminated. The amount of oil in the face plate can be easily adjusted with the oil-amount adjusting screw mounted on the machine arm. Oil shield rubber installed on the jaw of the machine arm prevents oil leakage. The feed mechanism has been improved, thereby preventing slippage of the material. The locus of the feed dog motion has been improved. As a result, the feed dog securely catches the material and the material can be smoothly fed while preventing puckering, deformation of the material and material slippage. The remaining amount of the bobbin thread can be visually checked with ease. The slide plate is equipped with a small window through which the remaining amount of the bobbin thread can be checked. This allows the operator to easily check the remaining amount of the bobbin thread and to perform sewing work without worrying about running out of the bobbin thread. The gauge can be replaced in a simple procedure in a short period of time. After the gauge has been replaced, the machine can be adapted to the newly installed gauge only by adjusting the clearance provide between the blade point of the hook and the needle. In this case, it is not necessary to change the hook timing in accordance with the gauge. As a result, the length of time required to replace the gauge is dramatically reduced. Commercially available gauges and hooks can be used with the sewing machine. The stop position of the needles is detected with a higher degree of accuracy. A built-in synchronizer detects the stop position of the needle with a higher degree of accuracy, so the upper stop position and lower stop position of the needle can be independently adjusted with ease. In or out of a thread trimmer operation mode can be changed over with ease. A thread trimmer operation mode can be quickly changed over by simple fingertip control with the control panel (CP-160B, -360B). Automatic reverse feed stitching can be performed even out of a thread trimmer operation mode. Newly-developed wiper spreads the thread without fail.
