Wind Tunnel Laboratory The wind tunnel lab allows us to gather precise data with 180 degrees of measurement on terminations. Rain Testing M&G labs test the vapor/moisture barrier of products by subjecting them to extreme rain and wind conditions. These tests are more stringent than required in the US and Canada. 5 PolyPro PolyPro is a polypropylene ULC-S636 Gas Vent - BH, Class II (248 F max) venting system for the North American continent. PolyPro is engineered for use with category II & IV condensing appliances, is corrosion resistant and utilizes gaskets that enable rapid and adhesive free assembly. Available in 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 diameters. PVC pipes are commonly used for venting water heaters, condensing boilers and warm air furnaces, yet PVC was never designed for such use. No other plastic contains or releases as many dangerous chemicals. It poses dangerous environmental health hazards in its manufacture, product life, and disposal. PVC is unfit for safe venting. An environmentally safe alternative is PolyPro, new to the U.S. and Canadian market by DuraVent, for condensing gas appliances.
