3 Infeed and Cleaning In this first section of the Marcelissen company brochure we would like to show you some of the machines that we can offer to you for the storage, infeed and cleaning of your products. If you want to store your bulk in a bunker or you want to feed it in using boxes and a boxtipper we can offer you a suitable solution. No matter how big, small or heavy your boxes or big bags are we can solve it. From the storage we can feed the line, which can be fully automatically level controlled. This allows you to improve other parts of your process in the meantime. We use desoilers or desoiler belts to remove sand, soil mud or other small or medium shaped foreign objects from the product stream. This will result into the highest possible efficiency of your processing line. Peeling and Inspection This section is all about peeling and inspection. Maybe the most important step out of the whole processing.

4 Peeling and Inspection This section is all about peeling and inspection. Maybe the most important step out of the whole processing. Most waste is generated during the peeling, also these machines need the most attention in maintenance and repairs. Marcelissen is proud to present to you the best solution for both. We offer peelers with the highest yield and lowest losses but yet with very few maintenance, wearable parts and repairs needed. For that reason our machines have been called best on the market by some of our highly respected and worldwide market leading companies. As a basic machine we offer a batch peeler. This machine peels on the smallest floor space your product. Due to the fact it is a batch peeler it can handle a maximum weight of product in batches for the best resut. We offer it with an automatic weighing system. This batchweigher can be used as well with all other peelers. The u-bed peeler is the working horse under the peelers, very durable and reliable and mainly used as a pre-peeler. Each roller in this machines is engine driven individually which allows you to adjust the speed of each roller for the most optimised peeling and reduce in downtime. In case one engine might break down, the machine will still do its job. The Drum Roller peeler is used as a second peeler or as a single peeler. This machine gives you the perfect round peeling with the lowest waste and the quality is controlled and fine-tuned by its control cabinet. With the control cabinet you can control the peeling time, the peeling intensity and the rotation for the best result possible. The knife peeler is developed to be the best knife peeler available. This machine gives you the optimal result in yield, capacity, rotation, fewest peeling losses, fewest down time, longest blade life and easiest knife change. 5 Cutting and Sorting This section shows some of our cutting and sorting solutions. If you have put so much effort in cleaning and peeling your product you want your product to be cut and sorted in the best possible way. No matter what product you have or which cut you demand we can offer you a solution. If you want to cut sticks, Julienne slices, wedges or dices we can offer. 6 Buffering - Weighing - Packing and Waste In this last section we will provide you a glance of our solutions in buffering, weighing, packing and waste treatment. We know, from many years of experience, that it is very important to have reliable machines with very few down time but also highest yield and accuracy. Our weighing machines characterizes itself by working extremely accurate. This gives not only the highest profit on your product but also your staff will find it easy and pleasant to work with these user friendly machines. The transport belts will be offered specifically for your solution, each process and each product will need its own treatment. Where one product will have to be cooled before packing in water the other will have to remain dry. Where one specific product can be transported by a transport auger, with very low maintenance and long life, another product needs a special food proof. Summarised we can say; we can offer you the transport method that suits you and your product. Once packed the product the product needs to be transported in the most optimal way to a pallet, box, cooling or truck. Using the Marcelissen metal detector you will be containing parts or bits in the bag which might have been missed by your inspection. Finally the turning table allows you buffer some product in case other actions have higher priority. All these items are made to last because you cannot allow a break down. Most products have an ideal temperature, when packed, which is lower than the temperature in the production room. Also by peeling, cutting or transporting the product heats up. A cooling auger is then the most ideal solution to cool your product back to the most ideal temperature.
