The robust and reliable components are fitted in separat power and water sections. Easy access to the steam cylinder and the hinged electronics/control moduls permits rapid, cost-saving installation and simple unit maintenance. The M4 and M3 electronic control modules ensures a reliable and stable humidification system. The user-friendly LCD display with membrane keyboard allows simple programming of the control parameters. 5 Defensor Mk5 Service Technician: Interruptions in operation must be short these days. Maintenance of the Mk5 units is rapid and simple, also thanks to the ingenious scale management system. High operating reliability A scale collector container is fitted below the stainless steel steam cylinder. The scale management system specific to the unit ensures that minerals precipitated during operation are continuously removed from the steam cylinder, fall into the scale collector container and are collected there. This prevents disturbances in operation by deposit of minerals in the unit. Simple maintenance Maintenance is limited to drainage of the scale collector container, which can be performed very quickly 1 to 3 times per year depending on the water quality. 6 Condair GS Consultant: Steam generation employing the most efficient and environmentally-friendly method The solution: Condair GS,maximum benefit from ecological energy Regardless of which energy is used to generate steam, the quantity required remains the same. It is therefore necessary to utilise the most efficient energy if cost-effective humidification is to be achieved. Gas not only offers a unique cost-benefit ratio, but is also the best energy source from an environmental point of view. Worldwide use of natural and ecological gas is growing at a rapid rate. The efficiency of the latest generation of gas-fired steam generators from Condair has once more been considerably increased in this respect. Innovative The newly-developed 360 full circle technology employed in the combustion system ensures low emissions and enables continuous performance control from as low as 10 kg/h steam output. The thoroughly new design of the chambered heat exchanger achieves a thermal efficiency of over 90%. Safe An automatic operation control with integrated ionisation monitoring and a fault detection system with safety shutdown ensure that operation of the Condair GS is completely safe. Operational reliability is guaranteed, thanks to an intelligent water management system consisting of an external float unit, filling valve, drain pump and a drain waste water cooler. Continuously adjustable The GS can be supplied in versions with six different output capacities. In the case of the GS-240, to give an example, continuous control of steam output is possible from 10 kg/h up to a maximum output of 240 kg/h. The unit control system is controlled by microprocessor and can be actuated with all common control signals. User-friendly The GS has a user-friendly, integrated help function. The control can be linked to a building services master control system via an open transmission protocol (e.g. LON). Up to 10 humidifiers can be linked to form an integrated system. 8 OptiSorp Consultant: Precarious spatial conditions make the planning of humidification more difficult. The OptiSorp system with its extremely short humidification distance is the answer for us. The OptiSorp multiple steam distribution system was developed for connection to all steam humidifiers from Axair, including Defensor Mk5, Condair CP2 and Condair GH. This fully satisfies the requirements of VDI 6022 and ensures uniform steam distribution over the entire duct cross-section. The steam is taken by the patented steam nozzles directly from the core flow of the individual steam distribution pipes and blown free from condensate into the air flow. The exactly defined pressure drop in the individual steam nozzles ensures a uniform steam output from all nozzles. This permits extremely short humidification distances even with higher humidification capacities. Steam distribution system and steam nozzles are made entirely of stainless steel and are supplied pre-assembled up to 1200 x 1200 mm for easy installation. The Condair Esco steam humidification system eliminates the weak points in the steam humidification sector with a live steam supply and sets entirely new standards. The heart of the system is the complete steam connection unit with a new rotary disk valve, combined with the proven steam distribution system and patented steam nozzles. This provides an optimum system to comply with all humidification requirements of the specific installation. Design security! Condair Esco in stainless steel The hygiene requirements of technical room air systems and therefore also of humidifiers are continually increasing in the market. VDI guideline 6022 defines air as a food. Steam for humidification must be of the highest purity, particularly for applications in the chemicals, pharmaceuticals and foodstuff industry, in hospitals and in the high technology sector. For this purpose humidifiers are also available made entirely from high-grade steel of material quality AISI 304. The Condair Esco steam humidification system is available in two series. They are both equally suitable for technical processes and room air systems and also for fitting in machines and equipment. The Condair Dual adiabatic humidifier with its entirely new combination of the two humidifier technologies of atomizing and evaporation eliminates all previous disadvantages of adiabatic systems. The new Condair Fast Fog humidifier is ideally suitable for high-efficient humidifying at low energyconsumption. It is especially designed for adiabatc-cooling of the exhaustair thanks to its high-pressure atomizing principle and resulting high humidification-efficiency of 95%. The humidifier is installed in an Airhandling-unit or an air duct. Special AxAir high-pressure nozzles generate a fine water mist.
