Heat ils slwly n lw r medium settings. Always turn hd ON when cking at high heat r when flambéing fd (i.e. Crepes Suzette, Cherries Jubilee, Peppercrn Beef Flambé) Clean ventilating fans frequently. Grease shuld nt be allwed t accumulate n fan r filter. Use prper pan size. Always use ckware apprpriate fr the size f the surface element. Warning T reduce the risk f injury t persns in the event f a range tp grease fire, bserve the fllwing: Smther flames with a clse fitting lid, baking sheet, r metal tray, and then turn ff the burner. Be careful t prevent burns. If the flames d nt g ut immediately, evacuate and call the fire department. Never pick up a flaming pan yu may be burned. D nt use water, including wet dishclths r twels a vilent steam explsin may result. Use an extinguisher ONLY if: A) Yu knw yu have a class ABC extinguisher, and yu already knw hw t perate it. The range hd shuld be munted at a distance f 24 (600mm) frm an electric r inductin cktp, and 30 (762mm) abve a gas cktp fr safety and ptimum perfrmance. If the instructins fr installatin f the gas cktp specify a greater distance, this has t be taken int accunt.(see pic 1, in next page) The exhaust air must nt be discharged int a flue which is used fr exhausting fumes frm ther appliances burning gas r ther fuels 2. T install nt the wall, munting bracket shuld be psitined n wall (350mm) abve the bttm f the range hd.(see pic 1 and pic 2 in next page) 3. Insert expanding screws int the hles.(see pic 2 in next page) 4. Drill 2 hles in wall 2.75 (70mm) n either side f centre pint f range hd. Drill 2 additinal hles fr munting bracket 2.36 (60mm) frm existing hles. 5. Add the bt (alternative part) t the ne way valve, and cnnect it t the kitchen utlet vent. (see pic 3 in next page) 6. Insert the uter chimney, the uter chimney shuld be fixed n the main bdy by screws. Then munt the bracket and insert the inner chimney and screw it t tighten.(see pic 4 in next page) 7. Ensure that the wall the hd is t be installed n is sufficiently sturdy t carry the weight f the hd. It shuld be munted level fr best perfrmance 8. D nt cnnect t a cmmn vent with any ther appliances such as a gas heater, water heater, washer/dryer, etc. 11 P age 4 P age

6 9. The duct shuld nt be bent mre than space 120 frm the ne way valve utlet in the kitchen vent 10. Check t make sure that the electrical crd is nt in cntact with sharp edges f the appliance 11. Be sure that the plug is accessible after installatin 12. Ductless installatins(r Recirculating Instructin) fr ductless installatins, Remve label n underside f hd indicating installatin f charcal filter. Attach charcal filter, part CF B,by placing in pening and dipping in place. 7 Truble Shting If any prblem ccurs, please detach the plug frm the scket and cntact Eur Parts r a similarly qualified persn in rder t avid a hazard. Prblem Cause Slutin Light n, but mtr des nt wrk Light des nt wrk, mtr des nt wrk Vibratin Insufficient suctin effect The utlet valve is blcked The capacitr has failed The cntrl switch has brken N pwer supply Fuse has blwn The prpeller is damaged r unbalanced The hd is nt installed crrectly The distance between the hd and cktp is t great The filters are saturated Detach flue and duct then turn n the hd t check if the valves pen Call fr technical service Call fr technical service Plug anther appliance int the scket t cnfirm there is pwer supply Open up the plug and replace he 13A fuse Call fr technical service Review the installatin instructins and check the installatin again fr lse screws, brackets r cnnectins Check that the distance is between 600mm and 762mm Clean the filters frm grease residue and replace after cleaning 9 P age Hw t Use 3 speed adjustment (see pic 6) Push the 1 buttn, and the mtr will run at the lwest speed Push the 2 buttn, and the mtr will run at medium speed Push the 3 buttn, and the mtr will run at the highest speed Push the Light buttn, and the lighting lamps will illuminate. Push it again and the lights will turn ff On any speed, Push T buttn nce and the delay timer will start wrking. The mtr will be turned ff autmaticlly after 5 minutes Push T buttn twice, the mtr will turn ff immediately. Pic 6 6 P age

8 Grunding Instructins Safety Infrmatin This appliance must be grunded. In the event f an electrical shrt circuit, grunding reduces the risk f electric shck by prviding an escape wire fr the electric current. This appliance is equipped with a crd having a grunding wire with a grunding plug. The plug must be plugged int an utlet that is prperly installed and grunded. Warning Imprper grunding can result in a risk f electric shck. Cnsult a qualified electrician if the grunding instructins are nt cmpletely understd, r if dubt exists as t whether the appliance is prperly grunded. D nt use an extensin crd. If the pwer supply crd is t shrt, having a qualified electrician install an utlet near the appliance.
