3 TERMOFAN PREMIX The first wall-hung gas furnaces appeared on the market towards the end of the 70s. These appliances went on to almost entirely replace the floor-standing furnaces used until then to heat large work environments. The main features that have allowed the wall-hung furneces to become the unchallenged leader in industrial heating can be summed up as follows: wall-hung furnaces do not require a boiler room, heat distribution system or thermoregulation system; since the system can be split into numerous lowpower units, wall-hung furnaces provide better flexibility in terms of management and temperature optimisation in different zones; wall-hung furnaces do not occupy any floor space; wall-hung furnaces are gas fired (by natural gas or LPG), thus providing better heat efficiency and lower pollutant emissions; purchase and installation costs of a heating system with wall-hung furnaces are considerably lower than any other industrial heating system. appliance with a modern and functional style, fruit of the detailed research that has gone into developing its new look. Thanks to a refined and elegant metallic paint process, TERMOFAN can be installed in any commercial or industrial environment (even of the most refined architectural quality). The TERMOFAN furnace no longer requires ugly supporting brackets: the intake and flue pipes are cunningly hidden behind thermoformed panels, the fixing template and supports are integrated on the rear of the appliance. After years of research, Air Control has launched TERMOFAN, the appliance that changes radically the present-day concept of furnaces. The most obvious innovation lies in its appearance: the new TERMOFAN furnace is no longer a parallelepiped made of sheet metal. It is now an

4 Innovation improving the harmony of shape The second, less obvious, innovation (but certainly more important than the previous more obvious one) lies in its technology. As the name TERMOFAN Premix suggests, this is a wall-hung furnace that features a total premix burner and a valve that maintains a constant air/ gas ratio. This technology allows high combustion efficiency, extremely low pollutant emissions and ample power modulation, controlled by an innovative procedure that creates excellent comfort conditions in terms of heating and noise levels. These features mean that TERMOFAN Premix can be installed in any indoor environment, especially where the airflow must be as gentle and silent as possible. TERMOFAN Premix is manufactured in three different powers that vary from 35 to 70 kw. TERMOFAN Premix is the appliance most suited to heating any artisan, industrial or commercial environment. In-depth technological research combined with considerable economic investment have allowed us to manufacture the first wall-hung furnaces with a heating unit made entirely of die-cast aluminium. Thanks to this cutting-edge technology, the combustion chamber, exchanger and flue manifold are completely finned. The considerable heat-exchanging surface of the heating unit and a unique electronic system that keeps the flue gas at a constant temperature (just a few degrees above the condensation limit) allow the TERMOFAN Premix furnace to achieve over 94% combustion efficiency. An efficiency percentage which remains constant whatever the power rating, ambient temperature or fan speed.

5 Several reasons to choose Termo Fan Premix TERMOFAN Premix heats environments with six powers and at six different fan speeds, which can be selected in manual or automatic mode. The choice of the most suitable speed in automatic mode is made by a powerful microprocessor, which continually compares the ambient temperature with the set temperature. Depending on the difference, it automatically selects the most suitable speed, thus offering maximum comfort in terms of heat and noise, whatever the conditions. The dual finning on the airflow grille allows the airflow to be pointed in a vertical or horizontal direction and thus also improves the comfort degree. TERMOFAN Premix also features another innovation already extensively tried and tested by Air Control on other appliances: the dual control system. Moreover, Termofan Premix avails itself of a simple and clear remote control system, by which it is possible to adjust and check all the functions of the appliance itself, in addition to fan speed and temperature. The weekly programming function is included. During the design stages, simple and fast installation is always one of our main objectives. Meticulous research, constantly monitored in unison with a team of installers, has allowed us to manufacture a wall-hung furnace that integrates and combines the following features to perfection: a sheet metal fixing template that not only makes drilling the holes in the wall straightforward but also supports the appliance; a complete air intake and flue system that can be routed horizontally or vertically, making installation flexible and fast; a straightforward and intuitive control panel that is activated automatically when the cable is connected to the appliance; an modern infrared remote weekly programmer that does not require any wiring. The highly industrialised production process also means that TERMOFAN Premix enjoys a highly competitive price/quality ratio.
