The SEER for cooling and SCOP for heating indicate the ratio between input power and output cooling or Cooling power at various conditions. 3 OUTDOOR UNITS Gorenje multi-inverter air conditioners deliver high-performance technology that provides power efficiency and optimum appliance operation. Unidirectional rotation compressors allow these devices to respond to our needs in an optimal manner as they quickly reach the desired temperature and then accurately maintain it. One outdoor unit allows connection of up to four indoor units to save installation hassle and space. The choice of indoor units includes conventional wall-mounted units and cassette units. All models can be connected to a single outdoor unit. A single outdoor unit notably reduces installation costs as only one supply line is required; moreover, such solution also saves a lot of space. 4 INDOOR CASSETTE UNITS With KAK cassette air conditioners mounted on a suspended ceiling, you will only notice the elegant grids that are the source of perfectly conditioned air. Four directions of invisible freshness KSK cassette air conditioners or convenient dimensions 65 x 65 can be installed in ceilings suspended by as little as 30 centimetres. In rooms with ceiling height of 2.5 m or more, these units will provide an elegant solution for a cosy personal environment with programmed operation or digital remote control. Units that only show the grids on the ceiling discharge the air in four directions to efficiently reach the desired temperature. They are fitted with a condensate pump to carry the water to a height of up to 75 cm. 6 INDOOR CONSOLE UNIT Highly efficient concole units air conditioners of A/A++ energy class afford silent and power-efficient operation and automatic switching between heating and cooling. 7 CONNECTING TO SYSTEM MULTI-COMPATIBILITY OF INDOOR UNITS All Gorenje wall-mounted units are suitable for both monoand multi-inverter operation. This means that all of wallmounted, cassete and console units can be combined into a multi-inverter system. One outdoor unit can be connected to several indoor units of varying power and form (wallmounted, cassette etc.). Cooling and heating with air conditioners Gorenje air conditioners are intended for cooling of rooms as well as extra heating in transitional seasons (spring and autumn). All stable air conditioners employ the principle of a heat pump. They do not generate energy as electric heaters; rather, they transfer it from the surroundings into the room where it is released at a higher energy level (higher temperature). This only requires a third of energy; the other two thirds are obtained from the environment, at virtually no cost. As long as surrounding temperature is above 0 C, this is certainly the most economical heating system. It is also ideal for extra heating in transitional seasons; in the seaside regions, it can even be used throughout the winter. Highly efficient inverter air conditioners can also be used for extra heating during the winter, depending on outside conditions (temperature, humidity, wind etc.). Air conditioner installation Indoor unit should be installed so that air flow is not directed on the people in the room. When installing indoor unit assure: unimpeded circulation of air enough room around the unit for easy cleaning and possible servicing indoor unit should not be exposed to direct sunlight Plan for installation of the outdoor unit: If the air conditioner is installed in an apartment building, the easiest place to install the outdoor unit is on the balcony. Alternatively, it can be installed below the window, on the roof, or in the attic (if it is adequately ventilated). In a residential house, outdoor unit can be mounted on the floor, on the balcony, under the roof, in the attic (if ventilation is adequate), or anywhere else on the wall. Consider the weight of the air conditioner and select a room where noise and vibration will not be disturbing. Select a place where air flow and sound pressure generated by the air conditioner will not be disturbing to the environment. If the house is subject to heritage protection regulations, consult the relevant body of authority. In any case, always install the outdoor unit in a way that is the least intrusive for the original design of the building (rear side of the building, floor, attic etc.).
