1 This guide is an overview of general labeling rules as they apply to textile products sold in the US, Canada, and Europe (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK). These rules include fiber content, care symbols and care instructions, country of origin, importer identification, and product identification. Ultimately, each vendor is responsible for ensuring that all products made for Urban Outfitters are in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, guidelines and regulations. SUMMARY The universal label for Urban Outfitters apparel products must contain the following information: Fiber Content - Translate in 5 languages (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish) & Portuguese for Free People ONLY Care Symbols - The symbols must appear in the order: washing, bleaching, drying, ironing, and professional care Care Instructions - Written in English and French Country of Origin - Made In information is written in Spanish (English and French statements remain on the COO label) Importer Identification RN #, CA #, and EU address Product Identification - 10 digit style number 1. Fiber Content -Fiber content must be listed by generic fiber name in predominance by weight of fibers. 90% Cotton 10% Polyester -Sectional Disclosure: If a product is composed of two or more sections, which are of a different fiber composition, the fiber content of the various sections should be shown separately. Body: 100% Cotton Sleeve: 50% Polyester/50% Cotton -Products containing Linings/Interlinings/Padding/ or Filling: If linings, interlinings, padding or fillings are incorporated in a garment for warmth, their fiber content must be disclosed as a sectional disclosure. Body: 100% Cotton Lining: 100% Polyester -Translations: The fiber content must be translated in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish & Portuguese for Free People ONLY 100% Cotton/Coton/ Baumwolle/ Cotone / Algodão/Algodón 1

Care Symbols/Care Instructions -Both care symbols and written care instructions need to appear on all apparel labels. -All vendors must use the EN ISO 3758 symbols recognized by the International Association for Textile Care Labeling. -Care instructions must be written in both English and French.
