Copeland Scroll Outdoor Condensing Units are perfectly suited for foodservice walk-in coolers and freezers, as well as convenience store, agricultural, and retail distribution applications. Units are available in 208/230 single-phase and 208/230 three-phase voltages. Copeland Scroll Outdoor Condensing Units integrate fan speed control, Copeland PerformanceAlert diagnostics and the reliability and efficiency that come standard with every Copeland Scroll compressor. All products are UL listed and approved for operation in ambient from 120 F to -10 F. Copeland Scroll refrigeration compressors provide the highest annual energy efficiency levels with superior reliability. When combined with a variable speed fan motor, an oversized condenser coil, and advanced electronic algorithms to optimize performance, the unit delivers the lowest annual energy bills in the walk-in industry. Compared to traditional units, the average energy savings for operators is $350 per year for a 3HP medium temperature unit, and may be higher for certain applications. Copeland PerformanceAlert diagnostic technology has been integrated into the unit to protect against common nuisance conditions enabling faster and more accurate maintenance and repair. Exclusive protection features, like liquid flood-back prediction, also protect the unit from harm and prevent expensive compressor replacements. Smooth scroll movement lowers sound and vibration levels. Ultra-quiet variable speed fan motors, an optimized fan blade, and internal baffling further improve the sound quality, creating a better customer experience and providing installation flexibility.. In addition to the benefits of lower energy costs, improved reliability and quiet operation, its slim shape and light weight make these units both aesthetically appealing and can greatly simplify the installation process.
