Cypress, Tampa FL [ debbie.joyce@thafl.com ] Quotation For Small Purchases To: POTENTIAL BIDDERS From: Debbie Joyce, Assistant Director Real Estate Development Re: Disposition of Surplus Items December 5, 2016 Service: Request for Written Quotation Pages: 9 The Housing Authority of the City of Tampa (THA) will receive written quotations (s) from those individuals interested in submitting bids for the purchase of the following surplus items: HVAC and Electrical Equipment Appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers and range hoods) Fire Extinguishers Furniture and Window Treatments Plumbing and Mechanical Equipment Kitchen Cabinets Metal and Common Area Equipment ders will be solely responsible for disassembling, dismantling and removing the awarded surplus items unoccupied apartment units and/or common areas and storage facilities. Prior to submitting a bid, prospective bidders are responsible for inspecting and investigating the items. ALL items are used, As Is and NO warranty is expressed or implied by the Tampa Housing Authority or any of its employees, agents, affiliates or representatives. No refund or adjustment will be made because the item(s) fail to meet standards of quality, conditions or performance. Failure to inspect the items will not be grounds for any claim of relief. Transfer of ownership and complete possession of awarded items will be given upon payment in full of the purchase price in the form of a cashier s check or money order (cash nor personal checks will not be accepted). Successful will be given up to five (5) business days to remove and take possession of all awarded items. By submitting a bid, bidder agrees to save, indemnify, and hold harmless the Authority, its directors, officer, agents, and employees from any and all claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney s fees), or liability on account of damage of property or injury to or death of persons occurring or resulting to any and all individual, contractors, sub-contractors, material men, laborers, and any other person, firm, or corporation furnishing or supplying work, services, disassembling, dismantling and removing of materials, items, equipment or supplies in connection with the negligent performance of this Agreement and from any and all claims and losses accruing or resulting to any person, firm, or corporation who may be injured or damaged by the bidder in the negligent performance of this Agreement.

2 Page 2 An escorted tour of a representative sample of items will be available for viewing at Mary Bethune High Rise located at 1515 Union Street Tampa, Florida beginning will begin promptly at 8:30am to 9:30am on the dates listed below. Please arrive ahead of time to allow time to sign in for the escorted tour. Monday, December 5, 2016 Monday, December 12, 2016, Monday, December 19, 2016 Tuesday, December 27, 2016, s may be received at any time between Thursday, December 5, 2016 through Friday, December 30, 2016 until 12 noon. The Tampa Housing Authority will evaluate all bids that are received above the bid and will make an award of surplus items based upon the date and time received until all quantities are exhausted.
