4 SAFETY PRECAUTION Cautions for using with the outdoor unit which adopts R07C refrigerant. Do not use the existing refrigerant piping. -The old refrigerant and refrigerant oil in the existing piping contains a large amount of chlorine which may cause the refrigerant oil of the new unit to deteriorate. Do not use copper pipes which are broken, deformed or discolour. In addition, be sure that the inner surfaces of the pipes are clean, free of hazardous sulphur and oxides, or have no dust / dirt, shaving particles, oils, moisture or any other contamination. -If there is a large amount of residual oil (hydraulic oil, etc.) inside the piping and joints, deterioration of the refrigerant oil will result. Store the piping to be used during installation indoors and keep both ends of the piping sealed until just before brazing. (Store elbows and other joints in a plastic bag.) -If dust, dirt, or water enters the refrigerant cycle, deterioration of the oil and compressor trouble may result. Use ester oil, ether oil or alkyl benzene (small amount) as the refrigerant oil to coat flares and flange connections. -The refrigerant oil will degrade if it is mixed with a large amount of mineral oil. Use liquid refrigerant to fill the system. -If gas refrigerant is used to fill the system, the composition of the refrigerant in the cylinder will change and performance may drop. Do not use a refrigerant other than R07C. -If another refrigerant (R, etc.) is used, the chlorine in the refrigerant may cause the refrigerant oil to deteriorate. Use a vacuum pump with a reverse flow check valve. -The vacuum pump oil may flow back into the refrigerant cycle and cause the refrigerant oil to deteriorate. Do not use the following tools that are used with conventional refrigerant. (Gauge manifold, charge hose, gas leak detector, reverse flow check valve, refrigerant charge base, vacuum gauge, refrigerant recovery equipment) -If the conventional refrigerant and refrigerant oil are mixed in the R07C, the refrigerant may deteriorated. -If water is mixed in the R07C, the refrigerant oil may deteriorate. -Since R07C does not contain any chlorine, gas leak detectors for conventional refrigerant will not react to it. Do not use a charging cylinder. -Using a charging cylinder may cause the refrigerant to deteriorate. Be especially careful when managing the tools. -if dust, dirt, or water gets in the refrigerant cycle, the refrigerant may deteriorate. Do not use the drier which is sold in the field. -The drier for R07C refrigerant is pre-attached to outdoor unit refrigerant circuit. -Some drier in the field are not in conformity with R07C refrigerant.

(UNF7/6) Use high-tension side pressure of.mpa G or over. Charge hose Only for R07C. Use pressure performance of 5.0MPa G or over. Electronic scale Gas leak detector Use the detector for R07C. 5 Adapter for reverse flow check. Attach on vacuum pump. 6 Refrigerant charge base. 7 Refrigerant cylinder. For R07C Top of cylinder (Brown) Cylinder with syphon 8 Refrigerant recovery equipment. [] Notice on repair After recovering the all refrigerant in the unit, perform repair work. Do not release refrigerant in the air. After completing the repair work, recharge the specified amount of liquid refrigerant. [] Refrigerant recharging () Refrigerant recharging process Direct charging from the cylinder. R07C cylinder are available on the market has a syphon pipe. Leave the syphon pipe cylinder standing and recharge it. (By liquid refrigerant) Unit Gravimeter () Recharge in refrigerant leakage case After recovering the all refrigerant in the unit, proceed to working. Do not release the refrigerant in the air. After completing the repair service, recharge the cycle with the specified amount of liquid refrigerant. 5

(Max.0m(PU(H)-P~P.5) / 0m(PU(H)-P~P6)) The refrigerant circuit with LEV(Linear Expansion Valve) and a large accumulator always control the optimal refrigerant level regardless of the length (0/0m max. and 5m min.) of piping. The additional refrigerant charging work during installation often causes problems. Heretofore it is completely eliminated. This unique system improves the quality and reliability of the work done.it also helps to speed up the installation time. 7

35 <Output pulse signal and the valve operation> Output (Phase) { ON { ON { OFF { OFF OFF ON ON OFF Output ➁ Linear expansion valve operation OFF OFF ON ON D ON OFF OFF ON C Closing a valve : Opening a valve : The output pulse shifts in above order.. When linear expansion valve operation stops, all output phase become OFF.. At phase interruption or when phase does not shift in order, motor does not rotate smoothly and motor will locks and vibrates. When the switch is turned on, 00 pulse closing valve signal will be send till it goes to A point in order to define the valve position. Valve position (capacity) A E Close Open 000 pulse Opening a valve all the way When the valve move smoothly, there is no noise or vibration occurring from the linear expansion valve : however, when the pulse number moves from E to A or when the valve is locked, more noise can be heard than normal situation. Noise can be detected by placing the ear against the screw driver handle while putting the screw driver to the linear expansion valve. B Pulse number Extra tightning (80~00pulse) ➂ Trouble shooting Problem Check point Corrective measure Remove the connector from the controller board and connect diagnostic LEDs. Exchange the indoor controller board at drive circuit failure. Operation circuit failure of the micro processor. Linear expansion valve mechanism is locked. k" LED Pulse signal will be sent out for 0 seconds as soon as the main switch is turn on. If there is LED with lights on or lights off, it means the operation circuit is abnormal. Motor will idle and make ticking noise when motor is operated while the linear expansion valve is locked. This ticking sound is the sign of the abnormality. 6 5 Exchange the linear expansion vale. Short or breakage of the motor coil of the linear expansion valve. Wrong connection of the connector or contact failure. Measure the resistance between the each coil (red-white, red-orange, brown-yellow, brown-blue) using a tester. It is normal if the resistance is in the range of 50'±0%. Check improperly connected connector terminals and the wire colors. Remove the connector on the controller board side and check electrical conductance Exchange the linear expansion valve. Disconnect the connector at the controller board, then check the continuity. 5
