2 2 the heart of electric appliances History Founded in the early 1950s, today Thermowatt is one of the top global manufacturers of heating elements and thermostats for domestic and professional appliances. The company operates with 2 main brands, Thermowatt (Electric Water Heaters and Domestic Appliances) and DhE (acquired in 2013 and active in the Professional and Industrial sector), serving over 250 customers in more than 100 countries around the world. Every year more than 35 million heating elements and thermostats are produced in its three manufacturing facilities and R&D centers. Most of the production is completely made in Italy in Arcevia (AN) and Follina (TV), while a third plant in China (Wuxi) serves the Asia Pacific markets.

The three R&D Centers are constantly seeking innovative solutions to satisfy changing Customers needs and anticipate market dynamics and new regulations.

9 MADE IN ITALY 9 Laboratory and Testing Thermowatt laboratory testing capabilities and scrupulous prototyping processes make sure that Customer s specifications are met and that products satisfy applicable international regulations and standards. Thermowatt laboratory is certified by IMQ and is able to perform a wide range of tailored activities for its Customers. In order to ensure maximum quality and guarantee safety performances for the entire course of their life, any item produced in Thermowatt plants are subject to robust and redundant in-line tests as well as frequent statistic random tests and accelerated life tests. This is what we call Full Quality Approach.

11 MADE IN ITALY 11 Quality and Certificates Thermowatt facilities and his advanced testing laboratory are certified by the major international institutes, including ISO 9001 certification, ISO and ISO The laboratory is also qualified to operate according to supervised manufacturer s testing to issue CE mark and is Certified to IEC by IMQ.
