3 Refrigerators Refrigerators and freezers are among the most common appliances used throughout our homes. The interior of these appliances are often subject to spills and scratches. These consequences are visible every time the door opens. When using polystyrene from Trinseo, you can be sure your liners and other interior surfaces will stand up to everyday challenges. For refrigerator liners, Trinseo put into place the industry standard with STYRON A-TECH 1175 Polystyrene Resin, thanks to the unmatched combination of ESCR, thermoformability, stiffness and impact resistance, enabled by STYRON A-TECH Polystyrene Resin technology. Adding our C-TECH Polystyrene Resin as the top layer, our customers get the deep gloss they require to add value to their products. As a result, the unique combination of Trinseo s technologies enables a glossy, white finish that retains its brightness for years; stress- and chemicalresistance to stand up to spilled food and foam insulation materials; and easy thermoformability that allows for the most complex shapes and styles. Building on the industry standard STYRON A-TECH 1175, the next generation, STYRON X-TECH 2175 Polystyrene Resin, enables material savings whilst maintaining excellent refrigerator and freezer liner performance. For refrigerator accessories, Polystyrene resin (GP) grades deliver excellent quality and consistency to respect your brand s color or tint charter in transparent parts, while matching stringent requirements on transparency, rigidit and processability. STYRON A-TECH 1175 brings the highest ESCR in the market for your injected white parts.
