1 AIR CONDITIONING An air conditioned environment is increasingly expected in retail, commercial and industrial premises. Whilst there will always be a demand for custom built air conditioning the standard off the shelf product market continues to grow. Established 25 years ago, Qualitair was one of the first British manufacturers of standard air conditioning products and it was acquired by Eaton-Williams Group in This has created an air conditioning business that can provide standard product solutions to a wide range of specialised applications and projects. The Qualitair portfolio covers chilled water and DX (direct expansion) refrigeration product ranges including ceiling cassettes, high and low wall split systems, free standing or in-wall packaged units, concealed fan-coil units and roof-top models. Qualitair can cater for simple cooling only requirements up to full close control unit applications for computer or control room areas. For food preparation areas it offers a unique low temperature ceiling cassette that can operate down to 10ºC, meeting many of the forthcoming EU directives and legislation. Cellar cooling, storage of fresh fruit, vegetables and florist stocks are protected with Qualitair refrigeration split systems. Qualitair products are supported by an in-house technical team and all products come with a 3-year warranty. Qualitair was one of the first manufacturers to have products tested, duties verified and performances certified by Eurovent.

3 PACKAGED AND APPLIED PRODUCTS MVU QST The 600 and 700 series floor & 1. Roof Top or Ceiling Void Packaged System The versatile MVU roof top and ceiling void range offers the installer and designer the choice of either locating the unit on the roof or in a ceiling void. Easily installed and only requiring connecting to supply and return air ducting and power, the range is ideal for many installations. 2. In-Wall Packaged System The QPM in-wall unit can be mounted at high or low level, 4 QPM 700 with a slim 235mm casing within QCH the room and the main sections contained in the standard 280mm wall with no projection on the outside of the building. Cooling only or full heat pump versions available. 3. Fan Coil Units The QST Stowaway chilled water fan coil units are suitable for universal mounting in concealed ceiling or wall mounted installations or can be provided in a customised casing for floor standing or wall mounting. The range is suitable for hotels, hospital suites, conference rooms and any multiple or single site applications. 4. Ceiling Cassettes The QCH chilled water ceiling cassette range offers cooling and LPHW heating features to the contractor. The design of the cassette enables the unit to fit into the standard 600mm square and mm ceiling tile openings. Optional fascias and valves complete the range. 5. Floor Standing Units standing compact chilled water range combines versatility and high performance to meet with the needs of today s modern offices and manufacturing plants. Basic modules form the design concept with the adaptability of being able to have upflow or downflow, ducted or free blow header boxes fitted. Units can be supplied in any B.S. colour to order. Optional architectural grilles for external mounting. Interior section Wall section The Qualitair QPM II range is the building designer s answer to air conditioning. Particularly suited to high-rise shallow buildings, the elegant QPM II cabinet takes up only 235mm of space in the room the rest of the unit is contained within a standard 280mm wall with no projection on the outside of the building. The slim room section is light grey, two tone and has an attractive cabinet with formed ends and decorative panels. The QPM II range is designed to meet architects requirements for an in the wall complete air conditioning unit. The unit can be mounted at high or low level and the adjustable grilles can be positoned to provide complete comfort. The use of architectural grilles on the outside ensures that the installation blends with, and complements, the design of the building. QPM II units are available in two cooling capacities: 3.4kW and 5.0kW, and have automatic heat pump heating and fresh air free cooling facility. Control panel contains a function selector switch and thermostat. Simply select the temperature required, choose boost or normal and the QPM II unit will automatically maintain comfort conditions. A third position selects free cooling fresh air with normal fan speed. A fourth position selects fan only at low speed for recirculating and fresh air. QPM II RANGE Air Conditioning
