3 Purposes and Types of Noiseless Heaters Purposes of Noiseless Heaters A noiseless heater is used to reduce noise and vibration generated when steam is blown into water to produce hot water. A sound deadening effect can be expected by connecting a noiseless heater to piping simply. Types and Principles of Noiseless Heaters Sound deadening principle Steam and water are mixed and discharged from the outlet. * Noiseless heaters cannot be used as direct mixing type inline heaters. 4 Why Vacuum Relief Valves are Necessary Necessity A vacuum relief valve is used to introduce air into a device or piping and, at the same time, prevent accidents attributable to a negative pressure (vacuum). What is a Vacuum? A vacuum means a specific state of space filled with a gas whose pressure is lower than the atmospheric pressure. MS-1 to 6 Noiseless Heater Annex Caution for installation Noiseless Heater To obtain a result as planned, fully utilize the nominal size selection chart. There are various methods in attachment. Consider intake position and discharge position with the tank size, etc (see piping example). Use noiseless heater with sinking under water inside tank. If used as piping example-b, makelength as short as possible. Install noiseless heater 3 mm or more away from wall or bottom of tank.
