2 Your TributeNight Garment Thank you for choosing TributeNight! Your TributeNight is custom designed specifically for you. When worn nightly, it provides an effective solution to help you regulate fluid fluctuations, decrease tissue turgor, and assist your lymphatic system. 4 4 Getting Started When you receive your TributeNight, immediately check to ensure that it fits properly. If your garment does not fit as it should, please promptly consult with your therapist or fitter and have him/her contact Solaris (within 2 weeks of the purchase date) to activate your SureFit Guarantee SM. Wash your garment prior to first overnight use (please review care and warranty information thoroughly). Inside out is right. The seams are on the outside of your garment to prevent skin irritation. Take time and use care when putting on your garment to prevent thread breakage. Wearing rubber gloves when applying and removing may help prevent fingernail tears. Wait at least 10 minutes to put your TributeNight on after applying skin moisturizer or lotion. During the day, store your TributeNight in the mesh bag provided to allow airflow and the evaporation of moisture. To adjust finger spacers, turn the garment inside out and trim the finger spacers a little at a time to decrease the length.

5 Care for TributeNight Garments Wash: Machine wash weekly (more frequently if needed) in warm water on the regular cycle using standard detergent. We suggest washing and drying with other laundry and double rinsing to ensure all soap residue is removed. Do not use additives such as bleach or fabric softener. If your garment has Velcro, ensure it is securely fastened prior to care. Dry: Dry on permanent press (drying may require two cycles). Do not use fabric softeners or dryer sheets. Drying time may be shortened by placing 2-3 tennis balls in the dryer with your garment, or by wrapping your garment in a towel and pressing out excess water prior to drying. Heat exceeding 130 F will damage your garment and void your warranty. Do not iron. Care for OJs and VCJs Wash: Hand wash Outer Jackets (OJs) and Variable Compression Jackets (VCJs) in warm water with a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and gently squeeze out excess water. Do not use additives such as bleach or fabric softener. Dry: Lay flat to dry. Machine washing and drying may shorten the useful life of these garments. Do not iron. 5

6 Applying Your TributeNight Arm Garment 1 Fold the upper half of your TributeNight over the lower half. Pull the garment over your hand (the sewn seam should align with your thumb). 2 Roll the upper half of the garment onto your arm, twisting the garment slightly toward your body to align the sewn seam to the center of your armpit. 6

7 Applying Your TributeNight Leg Garment 1 Fold the upper half of your TributeNight over the lower half. Carefully pull it over your foot using the heel assist loop (available on Chevron garments only). 2 Unfold your TributeNight and adjust for comfort. Chevron - the seams are positioned along the inside and outside of your leg (shown below) Vertical - the seams are positioned along the front and back of your leg. heel assist loop 7

8 Applying Your TributeNight Mandibular Unit 1 Unfasten and remove both straps from their buckles. Find the short strap of your Mandibular unit. long strap 2 Place your Mandibular unit under your chin so the short strap is positioned around your neck and the long strap is positioned over the top of your head. Thread the short strap through the buckle, at the base of your neck, fold the strap back, and fasten lightly. short strap 8

9 3 Thread the long strap through the buckle at the crown of your head, fold the strap back, and fasten securely. 4 Adjust the straps as needed to provide a comfortable fit. If you have an Orbital unit, loosen the long strap at the crown of your head and apply your Orbital unit under your Mandibular unit (below). 9

10 Applying Your TributeNight Trunk / Torso Garment 1 Position the garment on your body with the zipper or Velcro in the front (when applicable). Zip or close your Tribute slowly and carefully. 2 When applicable, adjust shoulder straps as needed to enhance the fit while standing or sleeping. 10

11 Your TributeNight Warranty Registered TributeNight garments are warranted to be free of material defects for one year from the manufacturer s ship date. Solaris will repair or replace any warranted TributeNight found to be defective. Using bleach, fabric softener, dryer sheets, or other additives will void your warranty. Heat over 130 F will damage your garment and void your warranty. Alterations not performed by Solaris will void your warranty. Damage due to fingernail tears, animals, bodily fluids, or excessive pulling are not covered. Solaris can not alter or modify TributeNight garments out of warranty. Outer Jackets (OJs) and Variable Compression Jackets (VCJs) are not warranted. We recommend replacing OJs and VCJs every 6 months. Since TributeNight is custom made, it cannot be returned for a refund. Applying OJs & VCJs OJs Fold the upper half of your OJ over the lower half. Pull over your TributeNight and unfold. Adjust and fasten with the hook or metal snap. About 1 of your TributeNight should remain visible at the top. VCJs Your therapist will adjust the straps to fit your limb. Be sure not to separate the VCJ from your TributeNight when donning or doffing. Simply zip and unzip. 11
