1 FEE SCHEDULE Construction Services and Permitting CONSTRUCTION SERVICES A. BUILDING RELATED PERMIT FEES Affidavit Permit. If authorized by the POD prior to start of construction Single-family residential Commercial and all other residential If not authorized by the POD prior to start of construction (see Section 12-8 for additional permit fees when work was started without permit(s) Single-Family Residential Commercial and all other residential Commercial Tent (separate electrical, plumbing, and mechanical permits required) Change of Address: First address Each additional address on the same property Demolition (additional permit(s) may be required) Demo base fee up to 5,000 square feet Over 5,000 square feet Driveway Permit, Residential Construction of up to two driveways and/or curb cuts and construction of sidewalk. Permit Extension: Commercial Residential Extension after permit expiration Extension of 2 or more permits for same parcel Permit Fee for App. with Inspections Performed by Outside Entity (contracted by applicant): The permit fee for an application when the Building Official has approved the request of the applicant to have an outside entity, contracted by the applicant, perform the required inspections shall be: $1.00 per square foot of the proposed structure, with a minimum $55 fee (this does not include any fees paid to the outside entity). Refunds of Permit Fee Only (not plan review or other fees) Work has not commenced and the permit is less than 6 months The amount of the permit fee paid minus Work has commenced or the permit is over 6 months old No refund Residential: Residential property owners obtaining permits without a contractor shall be charged a surcharge for permits for work costing more than $2, Service Permits: Specified single-family and duplex residential permit fees Air conditioning unit changeout (no electric) Air conditioning unit changeout (with electric) Hot water heater unit changeout (no electric) Hot water heater unit changeout (no gas) Hot water heater unit changeout (with electric) Hot water heater unit changeout (with gas) Hot water heater unit changeout (with electric & gas) Tankless hot water heater unit changeout (with plumbing) Tankless hot water heater unit changeout (with plumbing & electric) Tankless hot water heater unit changeout (with plumbing & gas) Tankless hot water heater unit changeout (with plumbing, gas & electric) 95.00
3 Special Project Fee: A fee charged for special services requiring staff research, inspections, document preparation and other assistance that is beyond the scope of services routinely provided by a department. The fee will be calculated based on actual staff time and other related costs that are incurred in order to complete the request. Minimum fee Transportation Impact Fee: To be assessed in accordance with Pinellas County Ordinance and its subsequent amendments except as additionally required in the Gateway Areawide Development of Regional Impact. b. BUILDING RELATED PLAN REVIEW FEES Plan Review: One- and two-family dwellings or additions thereto Multifamily, commercial and industrial, and where plans are submitted, the plan review fee shall be 20 percent of the permit fee with the minimum fee Plan consultation fee (preliminary building plan review), (the cost of staff shall be applied as a credit for applicable plan review fees at the time the permit application is submitted for plan review) plus the cost of staff attending the meeting Plan review fee for plans reviewed by a private entity contracted by the permit applicant, pursuant to the provisions in F.S , The plan review fee shall be one-half of the fee calculated pursuant to this Chapter, with a minimum $45 fee (this does not include any fees paid the outside entity). Plan review fee for master plan (which is intended to be used for multiple properties) for new single-family structures: Review of a master plan Review of an individual application building using an approved master plan Plan Revision Review Fee: Commercial revisions review: One page Each additional page Residential revisions review 45.00

Commercial partial inspections unless waived by POD due to complexity of a project Plan Review a. Expedited plan review (first review) 130% of plan review fee b. Expedited plan review (2 nd and each subsequent review of same plan) 40% of plan review fee 3. Flat Fee Permits a. Photo voltaic systems b. Solar Water heater (plus electric permit if required) c. Solar Pool heating
