The benchtop space is maximised by utilising accessories such as chopping boards, strainer trays, strainer bowls and rollamats. 8 0 Stainless Steel 8/0 means that there is 8% chromium and 0% nickel. This stainless steel is 304 grade which is commonly referred to as surgical grade and is used for maximum durability. Fragranite sinks are made out of 80% quartz and 0% methylmethacrylate (resin). The quartz sand, which is fired at high temperature, is colour-pigmented. Lift the plug in your Franke sink without putting your hands in the water by twisting the elegant stainless steel knob. Germ Resistant Fragranite treated with Sanitized reduces bacteria and microbe growth by 99%, giving the sink lasting protection. 9 CHOOSING YOUR PERFECT SINK The kitchen sink is seen as the heart of the kitchen, it s the perfect starting point for creating your dream kitchen. Let your imagination run free with a range of fabulous options to help you maximise space and accentuate the look of the entire room. There are however certain functional considerations to take into account and the following information will help to ensure that your ideal sink is the perfect fit for your ideal kitchen. BOWL & DRAINER CONF IGURATION The type and position of your bowl depends on how you intend to use your sink. If you like room to clean large items like grill pans, a larger single bowl may be best for you, or for a multi-functional purpose, you may prefer the versatility of two separate working bowls. For multi-bowl undermount sinks, it is important to decide which side you require the smaller bowl. The drainer location is also an important consideration. For many sinks you will need to choose the specific version you prefer with drainer on the left or right hand side. Whereas other sinks are reversible which indicates the drainer can be positioned on either side. Single Bowl ½ Bowl Double Bowl This brochure demonstrates the huge breadth of styles available and in some ranges there are several configurations to choose from in the same style. INSTALLATION TYPES Sinks can be installed in 3 ways depending on your kitchen worktop and your preference: INSET SINKS Inset sinks are installed from above into a pre-prepared hole in your worktop. It gives you the widest range of sink shapes, sizes and styles to choose from. UNDERMOUNT SINKS Undermount sinks are installed underneath the worksurface and therefore require a solid surface worktop such as granite or wood, they are not compatible with laminate worksurfaces. FLUSHMOUNT SINKS Flushmount sinks feature a single thickness edge allow a slimfit to the benchtop which can also be recessed resulting in a flush fit with the surface

58 DESIGNER SERIES WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS During the Warranty Period, Franke will either repair or replace defective components at no charge to the customer. Franke has the right to replace the defective Appliance with an Appliance of the same value if Franke determines that repairing the Appliance is not cost effective. Where the Appliance is situated outside the normal servicing area of the Franke authorised technical service network, the purchaser is responsible for payment of the service agent s travelling costs to the place of installation or repair. Franke is not liable for the cost of freight incurred as a result of the Appliance (or any part) being forwarded, collected or returned following repair. Such charges remain the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
