Non-metallic materials coming into contact with potable water are chosen for their resistance to support of microbial growth. Fittings are coated in durable chrome plate, gold finishes or architectural polyester coatings. High pressure installations (See Unvented Supply Systems) Topfix For further information please refer to page 63. TT Thermostatic Shower Valve Ideal Standards TT Thermostatic Shower Valves are designed as one cartridge, meaning fewer moving parts and therefore easier maintenance. The inclusion of reversible non-return valves means the TT valves are easily installed. Thermostatic valve Automatically maintains water temperature at the required setting to ensure safe usage and prevent scalding, even when water is drawn off elsewhere. Multiport Cartridge The Multiport Cartridge features 3 outlets (ports) for the out going water to flow through, inside the body of the fitting. This provides a greater water flow out of the tap, in comparison to an internal cartridge with a single port (outlet). Other benefits provided by the Multiport Cartridge are easy water and temperature control and a smooth and effortless handle control. Ceramic Disc The ceramic disc cartridge principle for bath, basin, bidet and shower fittings was developed by Ideal Standard and is the modern way to control water flow. There are no washers to wear and drip. A robust housing contains ceramic discs to control the flow of water through the fitting. Ceramic disc fittings are all drip free and impervious to lime deposit. Temperature Limit Stop You can simply and effectivley pre-set and cap the maximum water temperature delivered by your tap using the Temperature Limit Stop. With 7 level setting options (1 being the lowest through to 7 the highest), the Temperature Limit Stop reduces the levers operating range, therefore reducing the amount of hot water that s allowed into the body of the fitting. Cool Body Body is cool to the touch at all times to ensure safer use and prevent burning. Eco Button Limits the flow rate to 50% to save on water usage, with a simple manual override to achieve higher flow rates. Diverter A shower diverter is fitted to all combined bath and shower mixer fittings. By operating the diverter, water can be directed from the bath spout to the shower hand spray. Mixer fittings Water from the hot and cold valves is mixed in the body of the fitting or spout to whatever temperature and volume is required by adjusting the handles on the valves. Monoblock mixers These are one piece basin, bath or bidet mixers which incorporate the hot and cold valves and spout in one body. Over rim supply bidets Bidets for over rim supply are manufactured with one or three tap holes. A constant flow of clean water is provided for washing at a selected temperature. Pillar taps Traditional separate hot and cold taps for baths and basins. Quarter turn A ceramic disc cartridge that activates the water flow from off to fully on in just 90 of movement. Sequential Sequential taps use only one lever which controls water temperature. The water flow always starts at cold, reducing risk of scalding and ensuring a cold water purge. Single Lever A simple lever action which controls both flow and temperature in one easy action and is universally popular throughout Europe. Three hole mixers These mixers have a spout with separate hot and cold valves/ levers/handles and fit on to three tap hole basins, baths and bidets. Twin flow fittings Even when water pressure is not balanced, Ideal-Standard s twin flow fittings provide solutions for bath and basin. They allow a cold supply direct from the mains, while the hot supply can be furnished from low pressure storage. Unvented supply systems Traditionally the supply of water within the house in the United Kingdom has relied on the storage tank, usually sited in the roof of the house, for at least the supply to hot taps. The supply of cold water has varied between supply from the mains or supply from the storage tank. The unvented supply system is a new development which eliminates the storage of cold water completely and supplies both hot and cold water at equal pressure by means of a pressure vessel and controls. It is essential that professional advice is sought if this type of system is being contemplated. These include ceramic disc technology, which controls water flow and temperature with impeccable precision, single lever operations which offer smooth, temperature-controlled water, dual controls for mixer bodies, and quarter turn operations for taps. innovation 1 CLICK technology The single lever basin mixer and bidet mixer incorporate a CLICK feature that encourages water saving the user lifts the handle until they feel a slight resistance. This resistance informs the user that the fitting is delivering only 50% of its maximum flow potential. Lifting the handle further enables the fitting to deliver maximum flow. CLICK technology is available on Idyll Two, Ceramix, Ceraplan and Melange Ceramic Disc technology The multi-port cartridge brings a unique feature for easy temperature control. This means you and your children are safe regardless of any changes in water usage elsewhere in the home.. Available on Melange and Active. 2 Temperature Limit Stop The Temperature Limit Stop can be pre-set in any of four positions to provide extra safety. The safety stop feature on all single lever models limits the mixer delivering water in a fully opened hot position. Temperature limit stop Temperature limit stop design Idealfill A new concept in bath filling, Idealfill fittings may be mounted on or around the bath or on the wall, independently of the filler, without the need for a conventional spout. The water comes from the combined filler and overflow. This enables you to turn the water on and off from a convenient place without having to stretch around a shower screen or alcove. Idealfill is a low pressure product and will work with the majority of domestic systems delivering 23 litres of water per minute faster than any other bath filling system.
