7 RGE STATIONS Texa Konfort 780R Bi-Gas R134A & R1234YF The KONFORT 780R is the top of the range model, and unrivalled by any other air conditioning service station on the market. Though it is no larger than the other stations in the series, the 780R incorporates two separate tanks and two separate circuits for recovery, recycling and servicing. It can therefore function with both refrigerants (the old R134A and the new R1234YF) simultaneously. The 780R will provide a solution for workshops who are required to deal with new vehicles fitted with the new R1234YF refrigerant, but also maintain vehicles which will continue using the traditional R134A refrigerant. A major advantage of the system of ultrasonic nebulisation is to obtain the fine mist spray of liquid at ambient temperature. For this reason, these particles do not settle easily on the surfaces that meet in its path. 10 COMPONENTS CONDENSERS More than 85% of all new cars are equipped with an A/C or climate control system. Nissens provides a wide range of products; both total solutions and spare parts. RECEIVER DRIERS The dryer absorbs dirt and moisture to keep the refrigerant in the air conditioning system clean and it ensures that only liquid is conducted on to the expansion valve. In this way, you avoid destroying the compressor which drives the system and the A/C system will function better and for a longer time without repairs. The dryer is placed either on the condenser near the outlet connection or just after the condenser. The dryer should always be changed together with the condenser! This single unit VRQ (Vocationally Related Qualification), which is approved by DEFRA, is suitable for competent MAC technicians who have completed a previous qualification which can include in-house training. MAC technicians must already have a good understanding of components and the system operation to carry out servicing procedures relating to air conditioning systems. This includes safe working practices, the correct use of PPE, calculating the quantity of refrigerant to be recovered and leak prevention. Also, air conditioning service on a vehicle.
