4 BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE Safety Instructions If the model contains R600a-see name plate under refrigerant (the coolant isobutane), naturals gas that, is very environmentally friendly but also combustible. When transporting and installing the unit care must be taken to ensure that none of the refrigeration circuit components become damaged. In the event of damage avoid naked flames or ignition sources and ventilate the room in which the unit is placed for a few minutes. Warning: Keep ventilation openings in appliance enclosure or in structure for building in, clear of obstruction. Do not use mechanical devices or other artificial means to accelerate the defrosting process. Do not use electrical appliances in the refrigerator or freezer compartment of the appliance. If this appliance is to replace an old refrigerator with a lock; break or remove the lock as a safety measure before storing it, to protect children while playing might lock themselves inside. Old refrigerators and freezers contain insulation gases and refrigerant, which must be disposed of properly. Entrust the disposal of a scrap unit categorically to competence of your local waste disposal service and contact your local authority or your dealer if you have any questions. Please ensure that the pipe of work of your refrigerating unit does not get damaged prior to being picked-up by the relevant waste disposal service. Important note: Please read this booklet before installing and switching on this appliance. The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for incorrect installation and usage as described in this booklet. Conformity Information Tropical Class is defined for the environment temperatures between 16 C and 43 C in accordance with the TS EN ISO Standards. The appliance is designed in compliance with the EN15502, IEC / IEC , 2004/108/EC standards. Before Switching On Wait after 3 hours before plugging appliance in to the main power to ensure proper performance. There can be an odor when you first switch on the appliance, it will disappear the appliance starts to cool

5 Safety instructions Warning: Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer. Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the appliance, unless they are of the type recommended by the manufacturer. Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear of obstruction. Do not damage the refrigerant circuit. Do not use adaptors multiple receptacles or extension cord. Do not plug in damaged, torn or old plugs. Do not pull, bend, twist or damage the cord. This appliance is designed for use by adults, do not allow children to play with the appliance or let them to hang over the door. Do not plug-in or out the plug from the plug socket with wet hands to prevent electrocution! Do not place explosive or flammable material in your fridge for your safety. Place drinks with higher alcohol amount vertically and by closing their necks tightly in the fridge department. Do not cover the body or top of fridge with lace. This effects the performance of your fridge. Fix the accessories in the fridge during transportation to prevent damage to accessories. When the door of the fridge is closed, vacuum will occur. Wait for about 1 minute to reopen it. The appliance is not intended for use by people (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they don t play with the appliance. If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer or service agent or similary qualified people in order to avoid a hazard. Bottles that contain a high percentage of alcohol must be sealed well and placed vertically in the refrigerator. Do not touch the cooling surfaces, especially with wet hands as you could be burnt or hurt

6 Installing and Switching On The Appliance Operating voltage for your fridge is V at 50Hz. If you need help or ore unsure how to install the unit please contact the service agent or appointed person. Before makingthe connection to the power supply, ensure that the voltage on the nameplate corresponds to the voltage of electrical system in your home. Insert the plug into a socket with an efficient ground connection. If the socket has no ground contact or the plug does not match, we suggest you to call an authorised electrician for assistance. We do not take the responsibility of the damages that occur due to ungrounded usage. Place your fridge in a place that it would not be exposed to direct sunlight. Your appliance should be at least 50 cm away from stoves, ovens and heater cores, and should be at least 5 cm away from electrical ovens. It should never be used outdoors or left in rain. When your fridge is placed next to a deep freezer, there should be at least 2 cm between them to prevent humidity on the outer surface. Do not place anything on your fridge, and install your fridge in a suitable place so that at least 15 cm is available on the upper side. Fit the plastic wall spacers to the condenser at the back of the refrigerator in order to prevent leaning to the wall for good performance. If you place your fridge next to your kitchen cabinets, leave a space of 2 cm between them. Install the distance adjustment plastic (the part with black vanes at the rear) by turning it 90 to prevent the condenser from touching the wall. The adjustable front legs should stabilised to an appropriate height to allow your fridge operate in a stable and proper way. You can adjust the legs by turning them clockwise (or in the opposite direction). This should be done before placing food in the fridge. Before using your fridge, wipe all parts with warm water added with a tea spoonful of sodium bicarbonate, and then rinse with clean water and dry. Replace all parts after cleaning. Do not put very (!) hot food or bowl on the top table. It can damage the toptable. Fit the plastic wall spacers to the condanser at the back of the refrigerator in order to prevent leaning to the wall for good performance

8 USAGE INFORMATION Thermostat Setting Larders (fridges) do not any freezer compartment but can cool below 5 C. The thermostat automatically regulates the inside temperature of the refrigerator compartment.by rotating the knob from position «1» to «5», colder temperatures can be obtained. «0» position shows thermostat is closed and no cooling is available. For short-term storage of food in the refrigerator compartment, you can set the knob between minimum and medium position.(1-3) For long-term storage of food in the refrigerator compartment, you can set knob to medium position.(3-4) Note that; the ambiant temperature, temperature of the freshly stored food and how often the door is opened, affects the temperature in the refrigerator compartment. If required,change the temperature setting. Larder (fridges) do not any freezer compartment but can cool below 5 C. When you first switch on the appliance, for starting a suitable cooling, the appliance should work 24 hours continuously until it cools down to sufficient temperature. In this time do not open the door so often and place a lot of food inside the appliance. If the unit is switched off or unplugged, you must allow at least 5 minutes before restarting or re-plugged the unit in order not to damage the compressor. If your fridge is not cooling enough; Your fridge is designed to operate in the ambient temperature intervals stated in the standards, according to the climate class stated in the information label. We do not recommend operating your fridge out of stated temperatures value limits in terms of cooling effectiveness. 9 Accessories Glass shelf with slide damper The slide damper above the crisper bins allows the temperature and humidity in the bins to be regulated. Opening the damper reduces the temerature and humidity. Closing the damper increases the temperature and humidity. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Disconnect unit from the power supply before cleaning. Do not clean the appliance by pouring water. The refrigerator compartment should be cleaned periodically using a solution of bicarbonate of soda and lukewarm water. Clean the accessories seperately with soap and water do not clean them in the washing machine. Do not use abrasive products, detergents or soaps. After washing, rinse with clean water and dry carefully. When the cleaning operations have been completed reconnect the plug of the unit with dry hands. You should clean the condanser with broom at least twice a year in the order to provide energy saving and increase the productivity

10 Defrosting Defrosting occurs automatically in refrigerator compartment during operation ; the defrost water is collected by the evaporating tray and evoparates automatically. The evaporating tray and the defrost water drain hole should be cleaned periodically with defrost drain plug to prevent the water from collecting on the bottom of the refrigerator instead of flowing out. You can also pour ½ glass of the water to drain hole to clean inside. Replacing the Bulb To replace the bulb in freezer and fridge departments; 1- Unplug your fridge. 2- Remove the cover of the box from the claws using a screwdriver. 3- Replace with a bulb of maximum 15 Watts. 4- Install the cover. 5- Wait for 5 minutes before re-plugging and bring the thermostat to its original position

11 CHANGING OF DOOR OPENNING DIRECTION 1a-) Unscrew top and bottom screws of head panel. 1b-)Take the head panel off. 1c-) Cut the opposite side of the head panel throughout the traced line. 2a-) Unscrew the screws of top hinge. 2b-) Take the door off. 2c-) Unscrew the pin of the top hinge and assemble it to the opposite one. 3-a) Take the kick plate off. 3b-) Cut the opposite side of the kick plate throughout the traced line. 3c-) Unscrew the pin of the bottom hinge and assemble it to the opposite hole on the hinge. 3d-) Assemble the bottom hinge to opposite side of the product. 3e-) Take off the hinge which was assembled with the pin. 4a-) Take the bush of the door and insert it to opposite hole. 4b-) Unscrew the stopper and assemble it to opposite side. 4c-) If the product has door handle, reposition the handle according to door handle montage instruction which was given with product. 5a-) Insert the door onto the bottom hinge, assemble the top hinge and the door together. 5b-) Insert the head panel to its place. 5c-) Insert the kick plate to its place

18 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTION 1. Before assembling process,cabinets should be closer regularly.(min 6mm - max 10mm) 2. Align both headpanels by using adjustable feet. (fig F) 3. See page 2 for the necessary attachment components Position the assembly kit on the back side - down and fasten it up by using screws 6 (fig.a) 2 5. Position the assembly kit on the back side - up and fasten it up by using screws 5 (fig B) 1 6. Position the assembly kit on the upside and fasten it up by using screws 5 (fig C) 7. Take out the kickplate part for each cabinets Position the assembly kit on the front side-down and fasten it up by using screws 4 (fig D) 9. Take out the double sided tape located inner side of the gasket 3, mount it between two cabinets beginning from upside to down in the proper form. (fig E) Unscrew the headpanel screws(top and bottom) (fig G), position the assembly kit and fasten it up again by using headpanel screws (fig H)

20 SHIPMENT AND REPOSITIONING Transportation and Changing of Installation Position The original packages and foamed polystyrene (PS) can be concealed if required. In transportation the appliance should be tied with a wide stripe or a strong rope. The rules written on the corrugated box must be applied while transporting. Before transporting or changing old installation position, all the moving objects (ie,shelves,crisper ) should be taken out or fixed with bands in order to prevent the shake. Before Switching On Wait after 3 hours before plugging the appliance in to the power to ensure proper performance. There can be an odor when you first switch on the appliance. It will disappear after the appliance starts to cool. BEFORE CALLING SERVICE If your refrigerator is not working properly,it may be a minor problem, therefore check the following, before calling an electrician to save time and money. What to do if your refrigerator does not operate ; Check that ; There is no power, The general switch in your home is not disconnected, The thermostat setting is on «0» position, The socket is not sufficient. To check this, plug in another appliance that you know which is working into the same socket. What to do if your refrigerator performs poorly ; Check that ; You have not overloaded the appliance, The doors are closed perfectly, There is no dust on the condenser, There is enough place at the rear and side walls

21 If there is noise ; The cooling gas which circulates in the refrigerator circuit may make a slight noise(bubbling sound) even when the compressor is not running. Do not worry this is quite normal. If these sounds are different check that ; The appliance is well leveled, Nothing is touching the rear, The stuffs on the appliance are vibrating. If there is water in the lower part of the refrigerator Check that ; The drain hole for defrost water is not clogged(use defrost drain plug to clean the drain hole) IMPORTANT NOTES: Compressor protection function will be activated after sudden power breakdowns or after unplugging the appliance, because the gas in the cooling system is not stabilized yet. Your fridge will start after 5 minutes, there is nothing to worry about. If you do not use your fridge for a long time (e.g. in summer holidays) unplug it. Clean your fridge according to Chapter 4 and leave the door open to prevent humidity and smell. If the problem persists after you have followed all the instructions above, please consult to the nearest Authorized service. The lifetime of your appliance stated and declared by the Department of the Industry is 10 years (the period for retaining parts required for the proper functioning of the appliance)
