Mixture of this water is sent to a heat exchanger inside the boiler chimney (Economizer) 4. Add chemical to prevent scale, rust & foaming inside the boiler 5. Warm water is pumped into the boiler Fuel + Air for combustion 1. Air will be pre-heated in a heat exchanger inside the boiler chimney( Air preheater) 2. Fuel + warm air is injected into the boiler burner to produce heat inside the boiler Blowdown 1. To prevent the corrosion inside the boiler because mineral s multiplication inside the boiler Boiler water has to be blowdown out of the boiler regularly

The expansion joint can be replaced by an expansion joint of a similar design in the cold condition (when the plant is shut down).
