26 Caring for your Sink (Feel free to call us toll free with any questions at: ) Bronze Sinks Bronze (AB and WB finish) sinks possess a natural patina finish that bronze is known for. The material is very durable to scratching but will patina darker with age. Using a scotch bright pad will brighten the sink to a desired light bronze color if desired. Do not clean bronze with abrasive or harsh chemicals. Gentle soap and water will maintain the sink nicely. Copper Sinks Gentle soap and water will maintain the sink wonderfully. Because the patina finish is somewhat fragile, no abrasives or harsh chemicals should be used. The nature of copper allows the sink to scratch and discolor, however this living finish beautifies the product and adds to its uniqueness. Your sink will arrive waxed with a high grade furniture paste wax. This wax will wear off over time and a new coat of a paste wax should be applied. This will help lessen the patina ageing process. Most any brand of furniture, floor or car wax is acceptable. For light areas of your sink, dark brown KIWI brand shoe polish will also help restore the sink s gleam. Finishes Polished and satin nickel finishes are considered precious metal and should be cared for as such. Gentle soap and water is all that should be used to clean these finishes. Never use any abrasives or harsh chemicals on the sink. As nickel will darken over time, a mild chrome polish will restore the nickel finish with little effort. Chrome polish can be purchased at any automotive supply store. A paste auto wax will also delay the nickel from darkening as well. 1 Care Instructions

27 Caring for your Sink (Feel free to call us toll free with any questions at: ) Glass, Stone & Mother of Pearl Mosaic This is a very durable product for any bathroom sink application. Water spots and dirt show very little with use. Mild soap and water or mild household cleaners should be used to maintain the beauty of this product. Ordinary grout cleaner will clean stained grout to its original color if needed. Stone mosaic sinks have a 20 year sealer applied to help protect the sink. We recommend a stone sealer be re-applied once or twice a year to maintain the beauty of the product. Stone sealer can be purchased in small quantities at your local hardware store. Moored Onyx, Marble & Travertine Never use abrasives or harsh cleaners, as mild soap and water will maintain these sinks beautifully. Stone marble and Onyx are very durable but may require stone sealer once or twice a year. Stone sealer can be purchased in small quantities at your local hardware store. Cloisonné Cloisonné is a durable product for bath sinks. The fused glass over a copper sink is durable, yet beautiful. Never use abrasives or harsh chemicals as soap and water is sufficient. Sinks that have copper wire can be cleaned occasionally with a household copper cleaner to remove oxidation. Porcelain Porcelain is a very durable product. Never use abrasives or harsh cleaners. Mild household cleaners or mild soap and water are all that is needed to maintain a beautiful sink. Decorative Drains Never use abrasives or harsh cleaners.
