7 electric heating Argoclima offers an extensive range of products for heating environments: fan heaters with ceramic or traditional heating element, but also appliances that diffuse heat through convection or radiation. p. 8 FAN HEATERS WITH CERAMIC HEATING ELEMENT The ceramic heating element, known as the Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) heating element, has numerous advantages: it heats very quickly, diffuses heat uniformly and keeps it for long, and self-protects against sudden current or temperature changes. The PTC is a polycrystalline ceramic barium titanate semiconductor. Moreover, its thermal self-regulation capacity ensures considerable energy saving. p. 28 TRADITIONAL FAN HEATERS Their main feature is maximum rapidity in heating any environment thanks to diffusion of heat through forced ventilation. Traditional Argoclima fan heaters, with wire-wound heating element, are equipped with safety devices against overheating and tipping. p. 32 Electric convector heaters Lightweight and practical, they diffuse heat by convection and, if equipped with the turbo function, also through forced ventilation. They are ideal for heating an environment in a special way with an original touch, especially in the elegant versions with glass panel. p. 36 Diathermic oil-filled radiator The diathermic oil circulating inside the radiator allows for diffusing heat in the environments in a natural and silent way. p. 37 Carbon, halogen and quartz heaters An evergreen appliance, THESE HEATERS create atmosphere in any space. Argo proposes heaters operating with different heating processes depending on needs.
