3 SFETY INFORMTION Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate or install the product WRNING This fountain is intended for outdoor and indoor use. Place the fountain in a location where any water spills or splashing will not reach any other electrical equipment or cause damage. Choose an appropriate location before installing the fountain. DO NOT lift or push/drag the water basin to relocate the fountain when itʼs filled with water. Empty the water basin before lifting. Excessive weight or pressure on any of the fountain sections may cause it to tip or fall over. Keep pets and children away from any of the fountain sections. WRNING Some splashing may occur. To avoid injury from electrical shock, observe basic safety precautions and comply with the following instructions: The pump on your fountain has no user-serviceable parts. Only an authorized service representative should service the pump. Do not open the sealed pump housing as this may result in electrical shock. CUTION Refer to enclosed pump maintenance guide for cleaning. Install the fountain pump correctly before operating it. DO NOT allow the pump to run dry. n adult should supervise children when they are around the pump. Use the proper power source as indicated on the pump label. Equip the electrical power for the pump with a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) Wall outlet. For fountains with multiple sections or attached decorations: If any of the fountain s attached sections with electrical lights or components fall into the water located in fountain base, unplug the fountain and turn off circuit breaker before trying to put the fountain pieces back in place. If any leakage occurs around the pump housing, turn off the circuit breaker immediately and have the pump serviced by a registered technician. Do not operate the fountain if the pump has been dropped or has a damaged or plug. If the plug or your wall receptacle gets wet due to water dripping down the or for any other reason, do not remove the plug from the wall outlet until the circuit breaker is turned off. NOTE: llow the pump to hang at a lower level than the wall outlet to form a drip loop. 4 SSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1 Pump 2 D B Water Tube Light 3 4 C Pump Step 1: Place fountain () on a flat, level surface. Connect preassembled water tube inside fountain () to the outlet nozzle on pump (B), making sure the connection is tight. Make sure that the preassembled ring is secured tightly connecting the plug of light (E) to the other end of the pump (B). t the bottom of the inside of the fountain, there is a small circle that the light ring will securely fit into. Please place inside with the lights facing up so the lights do not move around when you add water. Step 2: Ensuring the of pump (B) is outside the assembly, slide back door (D) onto fountain (). Please note that there is a small opening on the bottom left corner to allow the of pump (B) to fit through. Step 3: Make sure that of pump (B) is securely fastened into adapter (C). Step 4: Fill the item with water, making sure the pump (B) is fully submerged. Then, plug in item to the nearest outlet. CUTION: Be careful not to spill water onto the plug of the pump. DO NOT allow the pump to run dry! 4

5 CRE ND MINTENNCE Keep water clean - using clean water will reduce mineral deposits, improve water clarity and prolong the life of the pump. Clean the fountain periodically to prevent mineral deposits and contamination. Use a wet cloth to gently wipe heavily stained surfaces. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives as this will damage the finished surface. dd clean water periodically to ensure the pump is fully submersed in water. Disconnect the power and empty the basin if the fountain will not be used for an extended time. If installed outdoors and in a freeze-area of the country, ensure all water is removed and the unit is completely dry before temperatures drop too low. This product is NOT to be operated below 41 F or freeze damage may occur. TROUBLESHOOTING 1. If your FOUNTIN PUMP fails to operate please check the following: a) Make sure the pump is it plugged into the socket properly. b) Check the water level in the fountain. Running the pump without sufficient water can damage the pump. c) Check the setting of the Flow Control on the pump. Check the pump outlet nozzle and the water tube for dirt and debris. Clean if necessary. d) Make sure the pump is connected to the water tube tightly. Check the fountain tubing for kinks and obstructions (refer to assembly step 1). e) The pump may be "air locked". Plug and unplug the pump several times to clear any air that may have been trapped. 2. If the water does not flow out of the fountain, it may be caused by kinked or loose water tubes, make sure water tubes are connected properly. ONE-YER LIMITED WRRNTY This product is covered under a manufacturerʼs one-year limited warranty from date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty only covers the product under normal using; it does not cover damage due to neglect or abuse.
