The brass portholes were reclaimed from a trawler. Spacious owner fit-out in painted plywood with solid wood painted trims. She offers comfortable 2-4 berth accommodation with the inclusion of the sofa-bed to a reverse lay-out. Powered by a Perkins 60hp diesel engine with PRM 160 hydraulic gearbox. Artisan is a truly unique one owner live-aboard wide beam with attractive lines that has been designed to give the look and feel of an older boat. She has much storage for two people and is fitted out to an attractive layout with a rear galley, large mid saloon and forward bedroom. ENGINE & TRANSMISSION The boat is powered by a Perkins 60hp, 4 cylinder, marine diesel engine coupled to a PRM 160 hydraulic gearbox with 2:1 reduction, turning the propeller. The exhaust is lagged, silenced and vents out from under the side deck. The engine powers a 12v alternator to charge the start battery and the 5 leisure batteries. WATER The 220 gallon stainless steel water tank is located beneath the bed, there is also an integral water tank in the bow. Water pump with pressure switch is located adjacent to the tank. Twin coil calorifier is heated by the bubble diesel fired stove, engine heat exchanger and the 240v immersion heater. HEATING Heating is provided by the Bubble diesel fired stove in the saloon which has a back boiler running 3 radiators. There is also a Webasto air blower in the galley ELECTRICS 240v circuit from landline with RCD. 12v lights throughout protected by fuses. 1 x 12v, engine driven alternator. 1 x 12v, engine start battery. 5 x 12v, 110 amp/hr deep cycle leisure batteries, renewed May w inverter.
