In the case of the Digit interface with segment display (fig.5) and Touch interface (fig.4) faults are shown by messages in the display segments. 3 Table - New Platform 2005 Electronic Refrigerators, combination and double-door 3/5 Compressor relay sticking Compressor relay open y power board Freezer fan unit does not run Electronic damper does not close/open Triac driving defrost heating element short-circuit No power draw of defrost heating element Incorrect switching of solenoid valve File setup error (EEPROM not programmed or faulty) NO-FROST Models: y ON/ OFF DAMPER STATIC Models with CCZ: SEC- ONDARY SOLENOID VALVE - Check for water leaks that may affect connector J1 causing the relative contacts to short; - Check motor terminal board (possible problems due to incorrect connection which may cause short-circuits); - Renew motor; - Check effi ciency of contacts on connector J1 on the PCB; - Check on wiring connector J1 between pins 3 and 2 for an impedance value that is compatible with the value given in the specifi c table. - Check that the compressor is not stopped due to overtemperature conditions (thermal cutout open) - Renew motor; - Check impedance on wiring connector J6 between pins 2 and 1 checking that the value is compatible with the value given in the relevant table; - Check correct connection of the freezer fan on the freezer compartment wiring junction box; - Renew freezer fan unit; - Check effi ciency of J3 connector contacts on PCB; - Check efficiency of connection of electronic damper at foam protected connector behind multifl ow; - Renew electronic damper; - Check condition by checking for impedance on wiring connector J6 pins 3 and 4; - Check connections of the defrost heating elements and possible short circuits on the freezer compartment wiring junction box; - Renew heating element. - Renew PCB - Check for continuity of the defrost heating element on pins 3 and 4 of connector J6, ensuring that the impedance value read is compatible with the value given in the relevant table; - Check for correct connection of the defrost heating element and the drip tray heating element on the freezer compartment wiring junction box; - Check the correct impedance value on the defrost heating element across the heating element terminals; - Check that the fuses have not blown; - Renew defrost heating element; - Check effi ciency of contacts on connector J8 on the PCB; - Check for impedance on wiring connector J8 pins 1 and 2 and ensure that the value is compatible with the value given in the relevant table; - Check correct switching of the solenoid valve With the compressor running, check that the solenoid valve switches when the refrigerator compartment is set to OFF. - Renew solenoid valve; - In the case of a production PCB, renew PCB and EEPROM; - In the case of replacement PCB and EEPROM, check correct insertion of EEPROM in PCB socket. NO-FROST Models: y ON/OFF DAMPER - Check effi ciency of contacts on connector J7 on the PCB; - Check efficiency of the damper connection to the connector inside the air duct in the variable temperature refrigerator compartment; - Renew ON/OFF damper; CCZ STATIC models with SECONDARY SOLENOID VALVE fault - Check effi ciency of contacts on connector J5 on PCB; - Check impedance on wiring connector J5 pins 1 and 2, ensuring that the value is compatible with the value given in the relevant table; - Check correct switching of the solenoid valve. With the compressor running, check that the solenoid valve switches when the variable temperature compartment is set to OFF. - Renew solenoid valve; Check

For Touch interface PCB: - Check continuity of connector J13/interface PCB 4-way connector; - Check continuity of connector J13/connector inside cabinet control panel; - Check continuity of connector inside cabinet control panel / interface PCB 4-way connector; - Renew display PCB. - Check efficiency of contacts on connector J6 on PCB; - Check for continuity of the defrost heating element on connector J6 pins 1 and 2, ensuring that the impedance value read is compatible with the value given in the relevant table; - Check correct connection of the fridge fan; - Check correct impedance value of the fridge fan; - Renew fridge fan; - Check impedance on wiring connector J2 pins 3 and 1, ensuring that the value read is compatible with the value given in the relevant table; - Check for short-circuits on the Multiflow heating element inside the refrigerator compartment; - Renew Multiflow heating element; - Check for impedance on wiring connector J2 pins 3 and 1, ensuring that the value read is compatible with the value given in the relevant table; - Check correct connection of the fridge fan (of Multifl ow heating element) inside refrigerator compartment; - Renew fridge fan unit (Multiflow heating element); - Check efficiency of contacts on connector J4 on PCB; - Check impedance on wiring connector J4 pins 1 and 2, ensuring that the value read is compatible with the value given in the relevant table; - Renew vacuum pump or AQUA CARE 1 solenoid valve; - Check effi ciency of contacts on connector J10 on the PCB; - Check for continuity of the solenoid valve on pins 3 and 4 of connector J10, ensuring that the impedance reading is compatible with the value given in the relevant table; - Check correct connection of AQUA CARE 2 solenoid valve; - Check correct impedance value of AQUA CARE 2 solenoid valve; - Renew AQUA CARE 2 solenoid valve; - Check for impedance on wiring connector J2 pins 4 and 6; - Renew lamps;
