3 COMPANY BACKGROUND Topaire Sales & Services Sdn Bhd was set up in August 1993 by DB Malaysia, a pioneer in Rotary Screw Compressor Chiller Technology with more than 50 years experience in the manufacturing of Rotary Screw Chillers. The company was set up primarily as a marketing arm to distribute the group s products manufactured by DB Holdings which include air/water cooled split/packaged units, chilled water fan coil/air handling units and air/water cooled chillers. In April 2010, Topaire Sales & Services Sdn Bhd ceased to be a subsidiary of DB Malaysia, as a result of the acquisition of shareholding by the minority shareholders. The company Kota Bharu continues to distribute all of their air conditioning products under the TOPAIRE brand by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). N Pulau Pinang Ipoh (Representative) Kuala Lumpur Kuantan Besides DB, Topaire Sales & Services Sdn Bhd also source air conditioning and related products from other world re-known manufacturers. TOPAIRE products are of high quality and with cutting edge technology to ensure that we stay competitive to meet today s market demand. These products are distributed through its network of more than 500 dealers nationwide. Our main sales & services office is located at Taman Desa Petaling, Kuala Lumpur. In order to serve our nationwide customers more efficiently, we have branches located in Penang, Johor Bahru, Kota Bharu, Melaka and Kota Kinabalu complete with office, warehouse, spare part sales and services staff. We have also appointed a sole dealer in Brunei. The company plans to appoint dealers or distributors in the South East Asia region in the near future.
