2 Welcome Villa Baroncino has a history behind it - the villa was built in the 18th century, its rural origin is characterized by ancient stone walls and it is placed on a nice hilly landscape overlooking Lake Trasimeno, at the border between Umbria and Tuscany. The Villa was once an olive mill and has been refurbished in the style of those ancient times - it is surrounded by soft rolling hills and plunged in lavish vegetation. It is a perfect place to stay while discovering two of the most famous Italian regions, Umbria and Tuscany, and the atmosphere guarantees perfect relaxation after a full day of touring! We put every effort into satisfying the needs of our guests, including services like Tuscan cooking classes, wine tours and wine tasting, internet access and cellular phones. Guests will have staff members ready to satisfy their needs, rendering their stay memorable and relaxing; every detail will be taken care of. Within a short drive, one can reach many important cities and towns in Tuscany and Umbria, like Perugia, Assisi, Cortona, Montepulciano, Siena, and Florence. Rome can be reached by car in two and a half hours.

4 Villa and apartments The estate offers accommodations for 50 guests in its nine apartments and four suites is the perfect venue for a destination wedding in Italy. Rooms are elegantly furnished with antiques from the heritage handed down by skilled Tuscan and Umbrian artisans, testimony to the history of the Villa. The estate is made up of 2 separate buildings: Villa Vittoria and Villa Adele. Villa Adele is the central core of the estate and is made up of three double-bedroom suites, the Wedding suite, a large kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with an ancient fireplace. Villa Adele offers a large gourmet kitchen that boasts both original design and modern fixtures. Kitchens are very well equipped with ovens and stoves, a large refrigerator and separate freezers. For more than 2 centuries, Villa Vittoria used to host the town hall of Baroncino-Tuoro and after a careful restoration it now has become an elegant three-story dwelling with nine apartments. On-site services available at Villa Baroncino include a private professional chef and housekeeping service. The property is equipped with a washing machine and dryer. 7 Wedding Suite The Wedding Suite is certainly the most important accommodation of the Baroncino estate. Located on the top floor of Villa Adele, it is a 60 sq. m. suite, featuring a luxury bedroom with an original antique bed, a stunning bathroom with double sink, bathtub, and shower, and a living room corner with tea and coffee facilities. From the windows of the wedding suite, you can enjoy the views over the lake and the surrounding valley. We asked our architect to design this suite as the ultimate luxury accommodation that, naturally, would preserve the style and taste of an old country estate.

9 Gardens and Pools The gardens of villa Baroncino with a typical plantation from Umbria and Tuscany of about 10,000 trees, huge bushes and 500 olive trees many with over a century old, are our biggest attraction: olives and cypresses, as well as aromatic plants such as lavender, rosemary and sage, and wayfaring trees, verbena, geraniums and more. The vineyard on the estates produces our Baroncino red wine. We have approximately 2000 square meters (0.5 acres) of vineyards and make approximately 1500 bottles. Experts have given us enormous praise about our wine: Wonderful perfumes of chocolate, berry and raspberry follow through to a full-bodied palate, with firm tannins and a long, refreshing aftertaste. Dry, austere, with elegant tannins. Our two swimming pools, situated near Villa Vittoria and Villa Adele, can accommodate large groups, offering a welcome respite from the summer heat. During the wedding reception, the appetizers are served around the pool. The pool is surrounded by terracotta sunbathing area, a lawn, age-old olive trees, cypresses and rosebushes. Photographs or better yet a personal visit are the only ways to grasp the full beauty of the gardens and its surroundings.

11 Our marquee This structure, measuring 10 x 20 meters (32.8 x 65.6 ) for a total area of 200 square meters (over 2150 sq. ft), can comfortably accommodate groups of people. This extremely elegant structure is brown on the outside and the ceiling inside is lined with exquisite cream-colored plissé fabric. It is equipped with beautiful white wrought-iron chandeliers that are fitted with speakers for background music during dinner and at the party afterwards. The floor is made of antique terracotta and the structure has sliding glass walls. It can be opened completely during the summer, but closed quickly in case of bad weather and during the winter. Since it can be heated, it can be used year-round to add a touch of elegance to your reception. The interior affords a stunning view of the olive grove below, the ancient tower across from the entrance to the villa, our marvellous garden and Lake Trasimeno in the background.

From POINTS SOUTH, including Rome* and Naples: Follow the green Autostrada signs to the A1, direction Firenze-Milano. IN EITHER CASE, EXIT THE A1 AT VALDICHIANA Exit the A1 at Val di Chiana and pay the toll. After the tollbooth, take a right, following signs marked Perugia to the Perugia Superstrada. Exit the Perugia Superstrada at Tuoro sul Trasimeno. After 50 meters from the exit, turn right following the signs Tuoro. Please continue always following the sign "Tuoro" After 600 meters go straight at the cross road following the signs Tuoro. After 800 meters the road goes up hill. After 1200 meters turn left following the sign "Ambulatorio USL" "P". After 1600 meters you will see at your right the entrance of "Villa Baroncino". 16 Special event services Baroncino provides an outstanding setting for all types of events such as weddings, renewal of vows, baptisms and birthdays. The gardens and panoramic views offer a natural colourful backdrop so that for most occasions no additional decorating is necessary. The marquee itself can comfortably accommodate 150 people for the wedding reception. Our private, spacious grounds may provide the perfect setting for both celebratory and professional events such as workshops or seminars. The living rooms, kitchens and some garden areas allow professional meetings in a non-traditional setting. The kitchens are perfect for cooking lessons and special local tasting events. In the living room areas and outside, onto the house itself, films may be projected for production projects. We propose to our guests upon request: fax, DSL lines, cellular telephones, satellite TVs, on site specialty catering and lists of special services providers such as lighting, electrical equipment, office equipment rentals, etc.
