Hurst is a small hamlet located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and forming part of the South Downs National Park. The nearby villages of Buriton and South Harting include village schools, public houses and shops. The market town of Petersfield has a comprehensive range of shopping, sporting and leisure facilities and there is mainline station providing a rail service to London Waterloo in about 1 hour.
