8 Seller Insight It was the quiet cul de sac location and its proximity to the M40 for travel to the airport and London which first attracted us to this fantastic family property, say the current owners of 28 Scowcroft Drive, It is the wonderful garden and spacious living accommodation however which have enabled us to truly make it our home. Since moving in, the owners have made various improvements to the property, including the addition of a conservatory to the rear of the house. We later knocked a wall through from the kitchen to the new conservatory to make one big, bright sociable space, they say, also updating the design of the kitchen itself. Outside, multiple patio seating areas serve as an extension of the living space in the warmer months. There is a patio accessed through double doors from both the lounge and conservatory, say the owners, ideal for al fresco dining. A smaller Italian style garden to one side of the house has a wooden arch over the rotunda patio to provide shade in summer, the garden being very sunny all day. Beyond the lawn are steps up to a wooded area with a little house in which to sit, come rain or shine. It is so peaceful there, the only sound being the birds in the trees. The property enjoys the best of convenient travel links and amenities whilst being part of a friendly village. There is always something going on in the community, say the owners, from Brownies, Guides or Scouts in the Village Hall, to the local football club. There is a well stocked coop for all essentials, as well as a Post Office, hair salon, fish and chip shop, pub, park and a beautiful little church. A regular bus service runs to the larger Southam, Warwick and Leamington Spa for a wider range of shops and a library. The secluded garden has splendid views over the hills, and has so many beautifully quiet places to sit and enjoy being outdoors. The dual aspect lounge is lovely, running from front to back through the house with a bay window and patio doors at the rear end and a view over the grass and trees to the front. It has been lovely to bring up our children in such a beautifully spacious family house, where they have had plenty of room to develop and grow.
