It was all we d dreamed of secluded, quiet, no near neighbours, great dog walking and riding country but only three miles from the sea, a good sized garden and an acre paddock with a natural pond and stables all surrounded by mature trees yet sunny! We d arrived in heaven! Everything is just the same today - a warm, welcoming home with two wood-burners and an open inglenook fire enough to keep you cosy on the coldest winter night. And wild life in abundance with resident squirrels and rabbits, pheasants (including an imperious Chinese pheasant in all its glory), foxes and on occasions deer in the garden and paddock.

The original cottage thought by the vendors to be over 400 years old was extended in the 1990s to increase both the living accommodation and providing a further bedroom with en-suite on the first floor.
