1 The Landscape Design Assistance Program (LDAP) will provide access to landscape retrofit design resources for Participants of the Municipal Water District of Orange County (MWDOC) Turf Removal Rebate Program (TRRP) This questionnaire will be used to qualify you for the LDAP, and to help the Consultant familiarize themselves with your project so they have an idea of some of the features you want incorporated into your design. If the information provided does not establish eligibility, then your Questionnaire will be returned with a Denial Letter. To get started, make sure to read the Terms and Conditions and Program Expectations for the LDAP found here: as these contain the program rules that must be followed to maintain eligibility. Please complete the entire Questionnaire. The more detail you can provide in your answers, the better able the Consultant will be to design a landscape to meet your needs and interests. MWDOC will review your Questionnaire for completeness. You will be required to provide any missing or incomplete information before proceeding in the program. 2 QUESTIONS: 1. First select the one style preference for your landscape after viewing the designs at ( Mediterranean This look provides some color for those who desire a green yet drought tolerant landscape. A few of the plants that fall into this category include lavender, yuccas, rosemary, olive, cypress, and bougainvillea. Trellises and sun screening may be incorporated along with some citrus and plants that will stay green year-round. California Native Here we have native plants and trees. This is a great choice if you would like to attract butterflies and hummingbirds and support native habitat. The natural look can provide vibrant color from shrub and tree blooms, primarily during late winter and early spring. A Native landscape has a more natural look to it. Modern This type of landscape is clean, with straight lines, architectural forms, and repetition. Great for more modern designed homes. The look is disciplined, yet is highly individualistic in style. This type of design would meet the requirements of low maintenance. Cottage This old fashioned English garden look features casual flowers in every color that bloom at various points throughout the growing season. A common look of this style is picket fences and entry arches. Butterflies and hummingbirds will be right at home in this style. Coastal Influence This style is perfect for conditions where salt, winds, and sandy soil exist. It offers relaxation and enjoyment of what nature brings, and features. Coastal gardens are meant to look natural and contribute to the overall atmosphere of life close to the sea. Orange County Friendly Incorporates plants commonly used in the Orange County region, existing low water plants become a familiar basis for your updated garden. These plants are easily identifiable due to their abundance in parks, medians, and common areas within planned communities. 2. How far along are you in your landscape redesign?
