4 The Million Dollar Question When will my plot be ready??

6 What do I need to do to get my bed ready? Construct raised bed and fill with soil. All materials will be on-site and are included with the plot fee If you cannot attend the work day or cannot physically build your plot, you need to make arrangements to have it built by another volunteer(s). Beds should need little, if any, amendments to plant. Gardeners supply plants, stakes, trellises, labels, etc.

8 What does my plot fee include? One-year plot rental Administrative costs Purchase & maintenance of common tools: wheelbarrows, hoses, shovels, rakes, etc. Garden maintenance Utilities
9 What do I have to provide? Plant seeds and seedlings Mulch Soil amendments Fertilizers, pest control products, herbicides, etc. In-bed irrigation: drip hoses/systems, etc. Plant labels Stakes, trellises, etc. Gloves, personal tools, etc. Decorations for plot
10 How can I help? 12 hours per year per plot Types of opportunities: Planting and maintaining common areas Tending the Food Bank plot Assisting with June 19 Grand Opening Fundraising Educational and social events

18 Don t shade your neighbor Return tools, hoses, etc. No smoking or tobacco No profanity Accompany children under 12 No pets inside the garden Keep loud noise to a minimum Be a good plot neighbor!
