Japanese Anemones ~ Thursday, June 7 th at 6:30 p.m.: Perennial gardens are often a riot of color in spring and early summer but there are fewer options for late summer and fall. Woody plants, perennials, tropicals and annuals will be include in the discussion. Take home small plants your hummers will appreciate. Cost: $ Hardy Garden Mums ~ Thursday, June 21 st at 6:30 p.m.: We have all had our hopes dashed by beautiful mums that fail to return in the spring. The lack of hardiness may relate to variety but often the very late planting date is to blame for our failures. We will discuss mum culture, provide tips related to pruning and winter survival, and send you home with several small plants that should prove to be reliable perennials. I suspect this topic will be very popular, register early. Cost: $20.00.
