General Park Impressions: This is primarily a neighborhood park tucked behind a storage facility and neighborhood. The park has a old playground and tennis court with newly paved trail. Parks seems tired and needs updating. Accessibility Level: Good with two paved parking lots and pave multi-use trail along with paved pedestrian space.

Shelter size is 20 X 28 with grills, trash cans, water fountain, lighting and electrical service. 2 Shelter 2 Picnic Shelter with seating for 32 individuals. Shelter size is 16X20 with grill and trash cans. 3 Picnic Tables Aluminum in-house built tables used by residents for meals and gatherings. 1. Shelter house is original and has significant wear. 2. Concrete floor is cracked and uneven and needs replacement. 3. Picnic tables are constructed in house and does not provide the image desired. 4. Trash cans are 55 gal. barrels, while very functional, it does not provide the image desired. 5. Apron around shelter has cracks and other minor required repairs. 1. Shelter house is original and has significant wear. 2. Concrete slab is cracked is needs to be replaced. 3. Picnic tables are constructed in house and does not provide the image desired. 4. Trash cans are 55 gal. barrels, while very functional, it does not provide the image desired. 1. Tables are built using bleacher seating cut-down to required lengths. 2. Appearance is not appealing. 3. With no lids animals get into the containers and scatter trash. 1. Replace all trash barrels with appropriate trash receptacles. Estimated Repair / Replacement Cost 16 Trash Cans - $21,600 6 Playground Playground for youth with slides, merry-go-round and other play features. 1. Surface is mulch 2. Structure is from 1990 and other components from 1970 s and has outlasted its life expectancy. 3. Poles and features have paint peeling / fading. 1. Replace mulch with a pour in place surface or synthetic turf surface to reduce long term maintenance cost and man hours. 2. Replace all play components with new structure. Playground Equipment - $45,000 Playground Surface - $60,000 7 Basketball Court Single asphalt surface court 1. Major cracking in surface 2. New backboards and rims 3. Surface needs to be painted and restriped. 4. Fence is rusted, bowing and leaning. 5. Court is a liability and has been taken out of service. 1. Renovate surface with new construction method of suspended concrete to reduce cracking. 2. Top Coat surface with striping. 3. Replace backboards and rims. 4. Replace fencing with black vinyl coated material. Total Court Renovations - $50,100 New Goals and Backboard - $1,700 8 Tennis Courts One court with turf and sand surface with asphalt base 1. Fence is rusted and bowing. 2. Astro-turf surface is worn but serviceable. 3. Spectator benches need to be replaced. 1. Replace fencing with black vinyl coated fence. 2. Tennis surface needs to be replaced with solid surface but is better than other courts 3. Replace benches with new structures. Total Court Renovations - $67,100

Parking lot has been patched several times. 1. Add irrigation to reduce man hours. 2. Replace dead plants and add flowering plants. 3. Provide appropriate levels of mulch to protect plants. 1. Overlay and/or remove existing parking lot material and compact sub grade and repave lot. 2.
